General Hospital Thursday, May 7 Recap: Cassius Twin Reveal to Josslyn, Drew’s Kai Shocker, Cullum Demotes Brennan

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, May 7, reveals that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) learned the truth about Cassius Faison aka fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) also scored some new information regarding Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) while Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) got bad news.

In Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) attic, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) helped her realize that Josslyn must’ve been the one who spilled to Brennan that she was cheating.

Carly went looking for Josslyn, but Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) admitted Joss didn’t come home and assumed she’d pulled an all-nighter at the library.

Once Carly returned home, she spoke to Valentin about the possibility that Brennan sent Josslyn away on some assignment in retaliation.

Carly wanted to find Josslyn and bring her home, so Valentin hinted about a plan that she wouldn’t like.

At home, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) opened the door to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and asked her to stay with Drew while she dealt with some work.

There was also some talk about Kai coming over, so Nina mentioned the fact that he knew Willow shot Drew.

Since Drew was there in the room to hear this, it looked like the wheels were turning over the new intel.

Nina thought maybe Willow should let Kai go, but Willow felt it was better to keep him close – especially since he was helping her out with a project to handle the Brennan situation.

Kai eventually came over with the report Willow had requested and offered up advice on how to score the votes she needed regarding the WSB funding.

Although Kai wanted to say hi to Drew while he was there, Willow claimed Drew was napping to shut down any interaction.

After Willow roped Nina into giving Drew another injection, Nina prepared one before taking Valentin’s phone call.

Valentin told Nina that he had a job for her to do.

Nearby, Drew looked over at the syringe that was on the table.

Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) paid Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) a visit at the law office to discuss lying Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst).

Alexis acknowledged that Ric seemed like he’d truly been working on his relationship with Sonny.

At the Metro Court Gardens, Ric accepted a last-minute invitation from Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).

Ric worried they were engaged, but Molly and Cody shut down that idea.

Instead, Molly told Ric about her novel being released and the book tour that Cody would be attending with her.

At one point, Ava dragged Ric away to make sure their deal was still happening, which Ric confirmed.

Molly was suspicious and worried Ric might be getting back together with Ava.

Cody dismissed the idea after secretly remembering when he found Rick in Alexis’ basement.

While Molly was in the ladies’ room, Cody hoped Ric wouldn’t make him regret keeping Molly in the dark on Alexis, Ava and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) holding him captive.

Ric was adamant about keeping Molly happy with Cody and reassured her when she came back to the table.

At GH, Cassius refused to tell Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) who he fought with, but he did say he bought them some time for Britt to finish the prototype.

Cassius made it clear that prototype was the priority since James West (Gary James Fuller) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) weren’t safe until Britt completed it.

Britt bickered with Cassius since he was hiding his true identity, but he acted like he would tell James and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) somewhere down the line.

In captivity, Josslyn rummaged around until she found a coat hanger.

Although Josslyn tried to unlock the door using the top part of the hanger, Cassius returned and got her to stop her pointless escape attempt.

Cassius delivered a plate of food and confirmed that the real Nathan was still dead.

After Cassius admitted he was Nathan’s twin brother, Josslyn questioned why no one ever heard about Nathan having a twin.

Cassius admitted that hiding him had been Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) idea.

Since Josslyn had questions about Nathan’s body that was missing from the grave, Cassius admitted he took care of that.

The DNA was already a match, but Cassius hacked the system to make sure his fingerprints were a match for Nathan’s, too.

Cassius ratted Britt out as the person who exposed Josslyn’s WSB status, so Joss fumed.

Josslyn worried Cassius would kill her now that he admitted his true identity, but he made it clear that he didn’t want to do that and pushed her to cooperate instead.

While Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) agreed to perform with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) for her upcoming showcase, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) visited GH for her gynecological checkup.

Britt filled in for Dr. Frida Navarro (Christina Ferraro), which was awkward at first.

However, Britt ultimately proved helpful, so Emma decided her follow-up appointment should be with Dr. Westbourne instead of Dr. Navarro.

Since Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) was about to be released from the hospital, Brennan showed up and offered to take him to the airport.

Brennan assumed Cullum would be continuing his recovery in Brussels, but Cullum insisted he was staying in town.

After Cullum questioned Brennan and realized the cops still had all the evidence from the pier, he ranted about Brennan’s incompetence.

Cullum said he’d be taking over the WSB office in Port Charles as a result, so Brennan agreed to take orders from him instead of being transferred elsewhere.

General Hospital spoilers say Cullum will continue to make waves in PC, so stay tuned.
