General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, September 3, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) became a setup victim thanks to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and a vengeful move regarding Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), so here’s how Thursday’s GH episode played out.
At the Metro Court restaurant, Ava Jerome (Maura West) met with Drew to remind him that if she went down for Brennan’s demise, then he would go down, too.
Drew felt confident they were in the clear, but Nina caught him meeting with Ava again and angrily confronted them about their partnership.
Drew tossed threats around before taking off, which left Ava to downplay things to Nina.
Nevertheless, Nina tried to convince Ava that any involvement with Drew would lead to disastrous news.
After Ava had Nina check her head for a mole, Nina realized it was a tick instead.
Nina wondered if Ava had been in any woods or fields recently, so Ava looked nervous since she’d indeed been on the nature preserve helping Drew bury Brennan’s body.
As for Drew, he secretly broke in Nina’s vehicle and planted Brennan’s stolen wallet under the seat.
Drew declared that “payback is a bitch” after flashing back to Nina shoving him in the lake.
At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) showed up for breakfast along with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
That led to Charlotte eavesdropping on Carly and Valentin’s conversation about Jack going missing.
Valentin had a theory that Brennan might’ve left on his own and set Valentin up to look like he made him disappear.
Carly pointed out that if Brennan did frame Valentin, he did a poor job since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could vouch for him being at the firing range with her.
Outside the Quartermaine boathouse, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzn) admitted to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that he took Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) truck without permission and dinged it.
Jason lectured Danny about the risks he was taking and banned him from driving anything for six months.
Danny wound up apologizing to Charlotte when she met up with him later since he’d put her at risk with his recklessness.
Charlotte didn’t blame Danny and appreciated the way he’d supported her following her dead body freak-out.
Charlotte also revealed that Carly and Valentin were still under the impression that Brennan was alive.
Danny and Charlotte agreed that Brennan was definitely dead, so they assumed the body must’ve been moved.
Jason made his way to Carly’s place, where he filled Valentin in on the dinged truck situation since Charlotte had been riding with Danny.
Valentin was sure Charlotte was a willing participant in the joyride and hoped Danny’s punishment wouldn’t include keeping them apart.
The thought never even crossed Jason’s mind, so Valentin was grateful.
Carly and Valentin also spilled the theory about Brennan possibly trying to set Valentin up with his vanishing act.
The conversation eventually shifted to Anna and the blame she was putting on Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) children.
The WSB sent William Baines (Alimi Ballard) to investigate Brennan’s disappearance, so he questioned Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) briefly in Jack’s office.
Baines then made it clear that Josslyn’s focus should now be on her CEO job at Jasper Jacks Enterprises.
Josslyn quizzed Baines about her mission, so he insisted she should learn whatever she could about JJE’s subsidiaries and that she’d find out her next steps after that.
The conversation circled back to Brennan’s disappearance, so Baines suggested Jack might’ve left on his own following the Spoon Island debacle.
Josslyn pushed Baines to let her keep looking into this since she knew more key players and could learn things that other agents perhaps couldn’t.
Baines found out from Josslyn that Carly spotted a confrontation between Brennan and Nina recently, so he was quite curious about Nina.
At the police station, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) got Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) to walk him through all the statements and evidence regarding the other driver who left the scene of Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) accident.
As he flashed back, Chase couldn’t shake what Danny said to him about not being the one who stole Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) BMW and scraped the side.
At the studio apartment above Charlie’s Pub, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) met up with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Sonny wanted Justine to reconsider a public romance now that he was solely a legit businessman, but she couldn’t get behind that idea.
However, Justine did agree to consider Sonny’s proposal to take a vacation and end up at the same place as him.
Sonny wanted to keep meeting up with Justine secretly until then, so they agreed that they would.
General Hospital spoilers say Justine and Sonny’s romance will eventually get more complicated, so stick with the ABC soap.
