General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, April 14, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) remained devoted to Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) dropped a hint to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), so here’s how Tuesday’s episode played out.
In the apartment above Charlie’s Pub, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) acknowledged that she’d broken her pact with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) by sizzling with him again, but she didn’t regret it and accepted his key for future encounters.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) told little Phoebe about almost colliding with a car and hitting the guardrail when she swerved to avoid it.
Since Brook Lynn avoided hitting the other vehicle, she assumed there was no crash and just continued with her journey.
However, Brook Lynn admitted part of her was worried that if she stopped and the police got involved, she wouldn’t be able to pass the breathalyzer due to the wine she had before leaving the house.
Brook Lynn hadn’t wanted to jeopardize her chances of fostering Phoebe with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), who remained in the dark once he returned with a bottle for the baby.
While Brook Lynn worried about Jordan Ashford (Tanisa Harper), Jordan was a little hazy on the crash as Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) filled her in at GH.
Jordan also learned about the extent of her injuries and was grateful to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) along with Curtis for saving her.
After Curtis leaned in and gave Jordan a kiss, it triggered her memory of taking her eyes off the road for a kiss in the car.
Jordan was horrified as she realized she was to blame for the crash since she veered into the other lane and then overcorrected.
When Jordan asked about the other driver involved, Curtis admitted they didn’t stop.
At Brown Dog Bar, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) was with Britt when “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) showed up with Lulu.
Britt was taken aback to learn from Brad that “Nathan” was officially dating Lulu and that it had been going on for about a month.
As a result, Britt cornered Lulu in the restroom to insist that being with “Nathan” was a huge mistake.
Although Britt hinted that “Nathan” changed while he was away, Lulu thought he was the same great guy he’d always been.
Britt suggested “Nathan” was being who Lulu needed him to be and offered up a “don’t say I didn’t warn you” warning as she sauntered out.
Next, Brad and “Nathan” bickered about Britt as well as his relationship with Lulu. In the end, “Nathan” insisted Brad brought out Britt’s worst impulses and hinted that he’d put a stop to it if Brad was a bad influence again.
At the law office, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gave Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) the news about Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) wanting to join the mob before talk turned to Willow, who hadn’t officially dropped Danny’s restraining order yet.
Diane pushed Alexis to take care of that before Alexis reflected on how hard it was to look at Willow knowing she got away with shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
The conversation shifted to Willow insisting Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) should move back in with her and then not really wanting her around.
Although Diane pushed Alexis to let it go and accept the extra Scout time, Alexis was troubled over whatever puzzle piece she was missing.
At home, Willow suggested she initially thought she might use the gun to scare Drew off, but things changed following Judge Eva Heran’s (Tessa Auberjonois) demise.
That left Willow distraught over the custody case setback, so she shot Drew twice that night.
Since Nina assumed Drew’s injuries led to his stroke, she also thought that must be why Willow wanted to care for Drew himself.
Nina guessed that guilt was behind that choice.
Willow admitted to Nina that Drew didn’t have a stroke and that she’d been giving Drew a paralytic thanks to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), who pitched the idea of working together after realizing Drew was a liability.
Nina was concerned over Willow’s connection to Sidwell and how she was going to get out of this mess.
Willow only planned to keep drugging Drew until she could get leverage over him.
That’s when Willow admitted she just scored leverage on Nina as well since Nina injected Drew with the paralytic and left her fingerprints all over the syringe.
Willow didn’t want to use that leverage, but she vowed that she would if necessary.
That said, Willow argued that her real goal was making things easier for Nina since she was so torn between her daughter and her former stepdaughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke).
Since Nina had been agonizing over this choice, Willow felt she was taking that choice away by forcing Nina to side with her.
A tearful Nina assured Willow that she didn’t hate her, though she did wish Willow had confessed everything to her sooner.
Nina didn’t approve of all Willow’s decisions, but she made it clear that she was on Willow’s side even without the leverage.
Since Willow remained determined to keep the traffic cam footage buried, she wanted Nina to keep her in the loop on any new developments with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).
Willow also stunned Nina by admitting two other people knew she was Drew’s shooter.
Although those people were keeping Willow’s secret at this point, Willow had to be sure they would keep quiet.
General Hospital spoilers say Willow may have a shocking plan in mind for Trina Robinson (Tabayna Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) soon, so stay tuned.
