General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, April 21, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) hired Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) with a goal in mind while Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) divulged something massive to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
In Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) bedroom at Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) place, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) pumped the brakes on getting passionate because he was afraid he’d hurt her.
They settled on a compromise where Molly would shut things down if she felt any discomfort with Cody, but their first time hitting the sheets after her surgery went well.
At Bad Jen Café, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) assumed Rocco felt guilty because he still had his parents around while Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) didn’t.
Rocco was sick of feeling this way and seemed like he might blurt something out if he stuck around, so Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) sent him to GH for community service hours.
Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was irritated when he learned Britt squeezed Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) in for a last-minute baby exam, which Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was present for instead of him.
After Isaiah paid Jordan a visit and tried to be positive about her recovery, she blew up at him and ordered him to get out of her room.
Curtis witnessed the end of that tense interaction and privately warned Isaiah to stay away from Jordan.
Later, Portia tried to be nice to Jordan, who scoffed over it taking this accident for Portia to be civil.
Jordan had no interest in Portia’s pity and made that crystal clear.
At Sonny’s place, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) was concerned over Ethan coming after Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) job and suspected Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) might’ve sent him.
Ethan insisted Robert was focused on his newest granddaughter and had no desire to go after Sonny.
Plus, Ethan argued that he wasn’t a rat!
Ric still felt it was too risky to hire Ethan since he could be infiltrating Sonny’s organization as part of a takedown plot.
Sonny went against Ric’s advice and agreed to give things a try by hiring Ethan.
After Sonny said he was doing this for Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), he warned Ethan not to abuse his trust.
Ethan insisted he wouldn’t and shook Sonny’s hand as Ric watched them with a suspicious look.
Once Ethan left, Sonny privately agreed with Ric about Ethan hiding something.
Although Sonny doubted Ethan would use Luke’s memory to betray him, he felt that keeping Ethan close would help them figure out his agenda.
Ethan got on the phone with Lulu after his meeting with Sonny and Ric wrapped up.
Despite Lulu’s worries about Ethan taking a job with Sonny, Ethan defended the gig.
Back at the hospital, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) bickered with Britt and finally convinced her to stick with their efforts to take Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) down instead of just accepting her Huntington’s disease fate.
Another GH employee sent Rocco to Cullum’s room with an extra pillow, so he was nervous as he entered.
Rocco wondered about Cullum’s pain and was talking to him about the shooting when Britt caught them together.
Britt made an excuse to get Rocco out of there in a hurry and took him to the chapel, where Rocco admitted he knew Cullum was a killer.
After Britt realized Rocco was there on the pier that night, she flipped out over him being a witness.
Rocco confessed he was more than that and clarified that he shot Cullum, not Jason.
Back in Cullum’s room, Dante showed up to ask questions about the baton that was found on Pier 55.
Cullum confirmed it was his and acted like he initially wanted to bring Jason in with minimal force.
Dante tried to quiz Cullum about how Jason wound up with his gun, but Cullum clammed up and sent Dante on his way.
General Hospital spoilers say Dante will continue to investigate, so stay tuned for any big news he might uncover.
