General Hospital Tuesday, August 18 Recap: Sonny’s Secret Land Deal for Anna – Hudson Connects Phoebe Dots

General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, August 18, reveals that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) made a pitch to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that’ll inevitably spell trouble.

Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) also made some big discoveries regarding Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton), so here’s how Tuesday’s action went down.

At Sonny’s house, Anna spoke to him about his decision to get out of the mob.

Anna also opened up about her time in captivity and at the clinic in France before admitting the whole ordeal made her claustrophobic.

After Anna suggested she needed wide open spaces, she asked if Sonny might sell her a parcel of land since he had multiple acres to spare.

Anna acted like she wanted to create a private retreat and was adamant that no one else should know about it.

Sonny seemed on board with the idea, but he tried to give Anna a nudge into therapy since it had really helped him.

Once Anna headed out, “Peter August” (Wes Ramsey) appeared and suggested Anna didn’t need a therapist since she already had him.

In the park, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) crossed paths because of softball-related meetings.

Britt was stunned when Jason confessed he was no longer a partner at Corinthos Coffee and wouldn’t be working for Sonny anymore.

The conversation eventually shifted to Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) and whether Britt believed the WSB’s story about him.

Britt revealed that she asked Anna for help gathering more intel regarding Cassius’ demise for Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) sake.

The conversation ended on a hopeful note regarding Jason’s mob-less future before he gave Britt a kiss.

While Hudson was still with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) outside the Quartermaine boathouse, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) popped up with Phoebe.

After some introductions, Hudson found out Chase and Brook Lynn just finalized Phoebe’s adoption. That left Hudson looking curious, so he asked how old Phoebe was and learned she was five and a half months.

Hudson remained inquisitive as he subtly quizzed Josslyn up at her apartment afterward.

That led to Hudson finding out Chase and Brook Lynn took Phoebe in after her mother died in childbirth.

Hudson wondered about Phoebe’s family, so Josslyn mentioned that the father surfaced and agreed to a closed adoption.

After Hudson absorbed all this Phoebe info, he made it clear to Josslyn that he wasn’t leaving until he finished the job he came to do.

At the boathouse again, Chase and Brook Lynn rehashed all the Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) drama.

Although Brook Lynn wasn’t thrilled about Willow living on the Quartermaine property, she was on the same page with Chase about their family with Phoebe being the priority.

At the new apartment Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) was thinking about renting, he quizzed Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) about her statement against Willow regarding the night of the crash.

Lucy did her best to brush past all that and pushed Joe to sign the e-lease, so Joe signed and stuck around to get some measurements.

Although Lucy couldn’t get the lease to go through on her tablet, she assured Joe that she’d handle it at the office.

Of course, GH fans know the issue here is that Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) already signed the lease for this exact apartment.

Lucas let Ava Jerome (Maura West) know he was moving in his own place and took her there to check it out.

Ava was a little bummed over Lucas not living with her anymore, but she offered to help decorate.

The discussion eventually shifted to Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard) and how his sudden disappearance was about someone’s protection.

Next, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) wrapped up a day of volunteering at the animal shelter and joined Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) as well as Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) at the Surf Lodge.

Quinn (Jequan Jackson) had been volunteering too and showed up with Emma, so he joined the others while he waited for takeout.

It was clear that Quinn seemed to know a lot about Trina’s life as he expressed excitement over her career change and upcoming gig with Gio.

Once Quinn was gone, Trina marveled over him not seeming like someone who’d volunteer at the animal shelter.

It left Trina feeling like first impressions weren’t always what they seemed.

While Trina, Gio and Emma chatted at their table, the unseen stalker lurked nearby and watched.

General Hospital spoilers say Trina has plenty of danger ahead, so stay tuned for any disturbing news to come!
