General Hospital Tuesday, July 21 Recap: Missing Shooter Evidence, Britt Humiliated, Carly’s Secret

General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, July 21, reveals that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) discovered some crucial PCPD info had gone missing while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was forced to endure some humiliation at GH.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) also chose to hide something from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), so let’s discuss how all the drama went down.

At GH, Britt found out from Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) that Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) was the hospital’s newest cardiac surgeon.

Tristan had another run-in with Britt and let her know that her old room above Bobbie’s was available again since Carly put him up in a room at the Metro Court instead.

Things turned tense between Britt and Tristan again, but Lucas distracted Tristan so that she could focus on her meeting with Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about getting reinstated.

Britt ultimately got her job back, but she was put on probation and given a long list of extra duties since she was a repeat offender.

Since Tristan wanted to get to know the hospital staff, Lucas suggested his participation in the softball league.

Britt eventually came out wearing a ball cap since she had to be the equipment manager as part of her reinstatement deal.

At the Metro Court pool, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) got into another fight with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) about Valentin and her desire to live with Carly.

Lulu rejected that plan and took off, so Charlotte vented to Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and accepted his comfort.

Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruener) eventually arrived and stole Gio’s attention, so Charlotte seemed jealous.

Next, Valentin made his way to Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) office to ask for her assistance in handling Lulu.

Laura called Valentin out for undermining Lulu’s relationship with Charlotte in the past, but she was willing to help if he stood up for Lulu with his daughter.

At the PCPD, Anna met Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) and explained that she was shadowing Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) for a couple weeks so she could get back up to speed for the commissioner job.

Lulu showed up for a press interview with Anna, but she chose to seek personal guidance instead based on Anna’s experience with Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) and their previous struggles.

Anna offered some reassurance about things getting better with Charlotte if she kept showing up for her, so Lulu was grateful for the advice and rescheduled the interview.

Later, Lulu headed to the Quartermaine mansion, where Dante admitted Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) wasn’t eager to come home yet since there was tension with Charlotte.

Lulu tried to force the issue, but Dante suggested maybe she should let Charlotte live with Valentin.

At Carly’s house, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) stopped by with flowers and a flash drive containing Valentin’s past dirty deeds.

Carly acted like Valentin’s history didn’t matter to her since he worked to bring down Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and save Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Brick was adamant that if Carly ever wanted to get Valentin out of her life, the evidence he was handing over would do the trick.

Once Valentin stopped by later, he traded info with Carly on their Brick visits.

Carly reiterated what she told Brick and hugged Valentin, but she clutched the flash drive in her hand and didn’t tell Valentin about it.

In their secret meet-up spot, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) sought ADA Justine Turner’s (Nazneen Contractor) help going after Valentin legally, but there was nothing she could do now.

The WSB had wiped Valentin’s slate clean and any other past criminal proof was gone, too.

Sonny dropped some hints that made Justine worry he might make Valentin disappear, but he reassured her.

Once Sonny took a call, Brick mentioned having something in motion.

Although it could take some time, Brick seemed confident that Carly would be the one to remove Valentin from her own life.

Back at the PCPD, Joe brought Anna files on all the big cases she wanted, but he was surprised to learn there was nothing on the pier shooting.

The evidence was never entered at the warehouse, and there were no digital records either.

Laura showed up in time to hear the proof was missing and flashed back to learning Rocco was Cullum’s shooter, so she looked nervous over Dante’s obvious cover-up.

General Hospital spoilers say Rocco has more trouble ahead of him, so stay tuned for any difficult news to come.
