General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, June 2, reveals that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was forced to get sneaky while Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) teamed up on a mission.
At the Quartermaine estate, Jacinda pretended to drop Crimson’s expensive sunglasses in the lake so that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) would fish them out for her.
Meanwhile, Michael worked out a schedule adjustment with Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) involving the kids before sending her down to the boathouse for Wiley Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) baseball mitt.
That led to Willow physically bumping into Chase in his swimming trunks.
Since Willow also had a swimsuit on because of a photoshoot she was doing with the kids, Chase asked her to take a swim with him.
Willow looked worried as she flashed back to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) threatening to destroy her, but she decided there was no harm in hanging out with him for a bit.
Jacinda spied on the pair briefly and reported back to Michael on his plan working, so he was pleased to be laying the groundwork for Chase and Willow to eventually cheat.
Jacinda had concerns about blowing up Brook Lynn’s marriage, but Michael stood by his belief that BLQ deserved better.
Back with Willow, she discussed some warm memories with Chase and leaned in close to pick a leaf out of his hair following their lake swim.
At Turning Woods, Brennan pretended to be totally locked in when Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) visited his room.
Cullum admitted he found Brennan’s black box in his office, but he didn’t have the combination yet.
Cullum also said he got his hands on the redacted Five Poppies files.
After Cullum suspected that Brennan had turned Britt into a WSB asset, he wondered if Brennan helped her escape.
Brennan blinked twice for “no” before Cullum demanded that he blink the combination to the black box as well.
When Brennan refused, Cullum threatened to come back later and suggested that a man in Jack’s precarious position could easily die in his sleep.
At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) refused to let Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) slam the door on her and eventually entered to speak with Valentin.
After Nina ranted about Valentin and Carly playing house, she ultimately delivered a message from Brennan and revealed he could speak.
Nina passed along an “ex machina” code word, so Valentin knew Brennan was desperate and that they were in more trouble than he thought.
Once Nina left on Tuesday’s GH episode, Carly suggested she should go see Brennan since it was too risky for Valentin as a fugitive.
Valentin insisted on going as well, so he dressed up as a Turning Woods orderly and followed Carly into Brennan’s room with a bedpan.
At the PCPD, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) came clean to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) about her role in helping Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) figure out Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) was Cullum’s shooter.
Lulu was irritated at first over information being kept from her, but she eventually acknowledged that Liz was trying to do what was best for Rocco and help keep him safe.
Nearby, Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) was skeptical over Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) pointing the finger at Pascal (Marc Forget) for Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) murder, but Lucas insisted that Pascal needed to be interrogated.
Dante eventually got involved and told Joe to see if Pascal would come in for questioning since it was a good idea for Joe to get acquainted with Wyndemere anyway.
However, Dante privately expressed doubt to Lucas about his flimsy Pascal theory. Even so, Lucas was adamant that Pascal was covering up something horrible.
At Wyndemere, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was blindsided when Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) made it clear that he was going to divest from Deception or else they’d force a whistleblower audit with the SCC.
Brook Lynn and a somewhat reluctant Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) backed Tracy up, so Sidwell fumed over their lack of gratitude.
Deception would be nothing without Sidwell as far as he was concerned.
Pascal eventually pulled Sidwell out of his meeting to speak with Cullum, who didn’t have any further info on Britt’s whereabouts and felt it was time to talk about replacing her on the project.
Cullum ultimately hid once Joe showed up at the door.
Once Detective Fitzpatrick introduced himself, he revealed that he was there to ask Pascal questions about Marco’s murder.
That news left Sidwell, Tracy, Brook Lynn and Lucy taken aback.
