General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, November 3, reveals that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) got backed into a corner thanks to a picture of her wearing the bracelet that was found on Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) body.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) also pitched in on Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) mission to see if Jude Jacks (Wil Traval) might have a legitimate claim on Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton).
After Josslyn went for a run, she joined Brook Lynn at the Quartermaine boathouse and accepted the water bottle offered to her.
Josslyn admitted she thought Jude was in town for more than just Phoebe since he also seemed to be after Jasper Jacks Enterprises.
Brook Lynn ultimately suggested she could take Josslyn’s bottle for recycling, but Joss saw through the setup.
Josslyn pointed out that if Brook Lynn wanted a DNA sample, all she had to do was ask.
That led to Josslyn handing over the bottle so that Brook Lynn could compare her DNA to Phoebe’s and see if they were related.
That would allow Brook Lynn to figure out if they really had a reason to worry about Jude being the bio dad.
At the law office, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) sought Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) help tracking down Ethan Lovett (last played by Christian Howard) due to this situation with Jude.
Ava couldn’t help find Ethan and implied that the result might not be what Alexis wanted if he submitted to further DNA testing.
Alexis seemingly realized that Ethan was indeed lying about Phoebe’s paternity.
Before Ava left, Alexis warned her about Brennan’s body being found and seemed frustrated with Ava for not mentioning that she knew Jack was dead.
At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) house, Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) was upset after learning Carly had been arrested.
Although Donna wanted to call ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) for assistance, Sonny insisted she was too busy.
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) came over next, so he also heard the latest news about Carly and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) legal drama.
Thanks to the bug Ric planted in Hudson Parker’s (Troy Lennon Appel) briefcase, he had information on Josslyn’s cousin, Jude, being in Port Charles.
Sonny found out Jude was Jerry Jacks’ (Sebastian Roché) son and that Jude would likely distract Josslyn from her Sonny vendetta.
As long as Jude didn’t cause physical harm to Josslyn, Sonny was fine with letting that feud play out.
However, Sonny instantly became protective of Brook Lynn when Ric revealed that Jude was going after Phoebe.
At the PCPD, Carly was shown a pic of the “C” bracelet attached to Brennan’s sleeve.
After Carly claimed she didn’t recognize it, a flashback revealed that it was originally a present from Jack that Carly re-gifted to Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke).
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) arrived and told Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that Carly didn’t kill Brennan.
When Dante asked if Jason had proof, Jason admitted that he didn’t yet.
Jason spoke with Carly in the interrogation room, where they were in agreement about keeping Charlotte and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) out of this mess.
Based on the preliminary autopsy report, Brenan’s cause of death was determined to be drowning, but he didn’t have any defensive wounds to suggest he put up a fight.
As Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) spoke to Dante and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), there was speculation that Carly might’ve shut down the security system herself before killing Brennan and moving the body with Valentin.
Joe eventually scored some evidence and looked pleased as he approached Carly again.
This time, Joe had a receipt that proved Brennan bought the bracelet, which Carly could be seen wearing in a photo pulled from social media.
At GH, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) shocked Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) by revealing that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) was back in Port Charles and seemingly stalking her.
Portia fumed and was eager to get rid of the threat.
When Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) crossed paths with Heather at Bobbie’s, she informed her that Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kieran Barry) was currently in Ireland.
Heather was eager for Ace to come home and spend time at Wyndemere now that she was Spoon Island’s new owner.
Anna tried to convince Heather that she’d be better off making visits instead of moving back to Port Charles permanently.
Heather refused to miss out on bonding with Ace and wanted to make amends to the people she’d hurt in PC.
