General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, September 8, reveals that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) headed straight for Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) after a major marriage blowup.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) also lied about where she picked up the tick.
Plus, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) did everything in his power to stop Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
In the Quartermaine living room, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) came clean to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and everyone else on hand for the party.
Brook Lynn admitted she was the driver who hit the guardrail, but she explained that she had no idea there was a crash and would’ve stopped if she’d known.
That explanation wasn’t good enough for Trina, who ranted about Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) landing in prison for punching innocent Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).
Brook Lynn said nothing while Trina’s family tore itself apart, so Trina was livid.
Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) lashed out over Brook Lynn keeping quiet all this time.
Jordan unleashed some rage of her own over the news, and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) was upset about all the secrecy as well.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) entered at one point and found out what was going on, so he was there to witness Chase blasting Brook Lynn for her actions.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) defended Brook Lynn since Jordan herself confessed to causing the crash.
As for Curtis, he was responsible for his own choices and was in prison because he couldn’t control his anger.
Trina eventually stomped off with Kai. Jordan also headed out the back with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), who wound up on the hot seat with her since he knew about BLQ’s involvement and kept quiet.
As for Chase, Brook Lynn followed him to the door and frantically tried to explain.
Brook Lynn admitted she was afraid they’d lose Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) if she came clean about the guardrail since she had a glass of wine that night.
Brook Lynn was wary of having to take a breathalyzer, but Chase acted like she jeopardized the adoption by withholding information.
Chase was also disgusted with his wife for framing Willow for something Brook Lynn herself did.
Since Chase couldn’t even look at Brook Lynn anymore, he stormed out.
Soon after, Chase knocked at the gatehouse, where the door was opened by an unseen Willow.
Back with Ned, he comforted Brook Lynn since she felt she’d lost Chase.
In the living room again, Gio put Tracy on full blast for the cover-up and felt she’d learned nothing from all the damage of past secrets.
Outside the boathouse, Scout Quartermaine (Kayden Breanna Tokarski) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) confirmed they were both OK with the kiss since they liked each other as more than friends.
At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) house, he assured Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) that Scout wasn’t there, but Drew threatened to call the sheriff and wanted to search the place for himself.
Alexis was still there and found Scout’s phone when Drew called it.
Drew assumed Alexis had been breaking the restraining order rules and figured Scout had seen Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), too.
At GH, Ava made up a story about running into someone and petting their dog, so she claimed that must’ve been when the tick jumped on her.
Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) seemed to buy that explanation before joining Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
Portia and Isaiah were together when Trina showed up with Kai to reveal who the other driver was.
After Rocco and Scout realized Outback was missing, she returned with dirty paws from all her digging.
Rocco got a phone call from Sonny about Drew looking for Scout, so Rocco drove her home.
In the meantime, Drew headed home as well and met up with Ava, who advised against calling the sheriff and launching a search of the Quartermaine property.
It wasn’t wise considering Drew and Ava just buried Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) body nearby.
Scout eventually came in and confessed she’d been at Sonny’s house earlier.
Drew questioned where Scout went next, so she claimed she met up with some swim team friends.
Drew pushed Scout to tell him the truth and questioned if she’d been with Danny instead.
Scout didn’t want any suspicion landing on Rocco, so she lied and claimed she was indeed with Danny.
Back with Alexis, she decided she’d tell Scout that they could see each other as much as she wanted in secret.
Sonny was on board with helping Alexis go behind Drew’s back.
On Mount Emerson, Anna forced Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) down on the ground, so Britt wondered if she was being arrested.
After Anna insisted this was personal, she made it clear that she was going after Cesar Faison’s (Ryan Paevey) last remaining child.
When Jason showed up, Anna admitted she wished he hadn’t come. Anna didn’t want to shoot Jason, but she was willing to do it if he got in her way.
Jason assured Anna that he was unarmed and didn’t think either of them would hurt each other.
At one point, Anna ranted about Britt’s involvement in Faison’s final project, but Britt insisted she was a pawn.
Jason defended Britt against Anna’s accusations that she knew about Anna being held captive on Spoon Island.
Britt argued that she only found out after Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) arrived in Port Charles.
Anna was adamant about ending Faison’s bloodline, but Jason wondered if she was going to take out James West (Gary James Fuller) and Bailey Louise Jones (Miley and Riley Plonski), too.
“Peter August” (Wes Ramsey) was nearby to try and keep Anna’s eye on the prize, but Jason’s words affected her.
Jason also insisted that if Anna wiped Britt off the map, she’d be a killer just like Faison wanted.
As Jason urged Anna to give him the gun, her resolve seemed to be breaking.
