General Hospital (GH) update for Wednesday, August 12, indicates that that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) will make a bold move against Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).
Meanwhile Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) alarms Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst).
Now that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has accepted a plea deal and is headed to Pentonville, an auction will soon get underway for his assets.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) went to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) for guidance about those assets and revealed he was part of her rescue that night on Route 91.
Although Jordan was thankful and offered up some tips to repay that debt, she wants to get paid if Valentin expects more from her.
Jordan will fill Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in on all this and leave him uneasy over her exploiting her Sidwell link, but she may downplay it as a good financial move.
Of course, Jordan will also broach the topic of Curtis keeping secrets about Valentin’s role in saving her and get his explanation.
Speaking of explanations, Ric may demand one once Sonny reveals his decision to leave the mob along with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Sonny will act like Ric should be relieved, but he’ll insist he’s the opposite of that!
Ric will be deeply worried instead and may suspect Sonny’s attempt at a mob exit could backfire spectacularly.
Nevertheless, Sonny will stand by his choice and prepare for the auction ahead since he’ll presumably still want his piers back.
Since Sonny will have some other power play plans, he’ll want to use those piers to his advantage.
Over with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), he may meet up with Ava Jerome (Maura West) again for a strategy session regarding Sonny.
Drew will plan on doing whatever he can to freeze someone out, so he could make some surprising moves in the auction that’s coming up.
Drew will also remain determined to keep Jason and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) as far away from Scout Quartermaine (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) as possible, so Scout will vent about that to Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) on Wednesday’s show.
Meanwhile, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will try to play referee at the Quartermaine residence, where Willow will blast Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) for putting Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) up to drugging her.
That’s not what happened since Jacinda took action alone, but Willow will maintain that Michael is just as much to blame as Jacinda here.
Willow will stand by her push for full custody, so Michael will fear their conflict is spiraling out of control.
Although Willow will claim she can prove her story, that may not really be the case.
Willow can prove the drug was in her system with blood test results, but she can’t prove Jacinda was at fault.
Michael got rid of the cup with Jacinda’s fingerprints on it, so that may give Willow something else to lash out about.
Even so, Willow will think she’s got the upper hand and can make a strong case for Jacinda drugging her on Michael’s orders, especially considering Jacinda’s history.
Although Michael will fret over this potential custody setback, Trina and Kai will come through when it counts.
It appears Kai and Trina are about to expose Willow as Drew’s real shooter during a conversation with Michael.
Trina and Kai may point to the whole ringtone situation as proof since they heard Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) calling Willow’s phone at the time of the shooting.
Michael may try to spin things back around on Willow by threatening her soon.
Willow can’t go back on trial for that specific shooting, but Michael could try to ruin her reputation and affect the judge’s view of her in a custody battle.
As for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) on Wednesday’s GH episode, she’ll have a hard time deciding what outcome she truly wants in Curtis’ trial.
Curtis deserves to pay, but he’s still the father of Portia’s children.
General Hospital spoilers say Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) will sense that Portia’s stressed and offer up some news that he hopes will help.
