General Hospital Wednesday, June 24 Recap: Cullum’s Poison Trap, Cassius Sends Deadly Vials to Britt

General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, June 24, reveals that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) carried out a fatal plan as Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) took the bait.

The result put Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in danger, so here’s how Wednesday’s GH episode played out.

At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, she filled Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) in on Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) being a WSB agent and how her alliance with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) happened.

Lucas reeled over all that news and realized Valentin was the one Carly cheated on Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) with.

Carly explained that Valentin was in Geneva working on exposing Cullum as a double agent since he was holding Josslyn captive at Wyndemere.

Lucas admitted Cullum was Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) killer, so Carly realized Josslyn was in even more danger than she thought.

Although Carly wanted to break in Wyndemere immediately with Lucas’ help, he convinced her to wait and see if they heard from Valentin.

If Valentin didn’t get in touch soon, Lucas assured Carly that they’d go rescue Josslyn themselves.

At Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) place, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) admitted Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) left her there since she got a lead on Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) location and was going to pursue it with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Charlotte thought there was a good possibility that “Nathan” spilled Rocco’s whereabouts, but Danny suggested Rocco couldn’t get mad at them since they did what he asked.

Charlotte confessed that Lulu and Dante would go into hiding with Rocco once they found him, which led to her confessing the shooter shocker she heard while eavesdropping.

Danny was stunned when he found out Rocco shot Cullum to protect Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), who took the fall for him.

Charlotte pushed Danny to keep quiet about this and fumed when he insisted on going to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for help clearing Jason’s name.

After Cassius stole Britt’s remaining medication vials from the safe, he turned around to find Cullum standing there.

That led to some talk about Cassius planning to leave town once the project was done, but he acted like he didn’t care about Nathan’s life or who he left behind.

WSB Agent Harker (Matt Merchant) reported back to Cullum later on where Cassius went after he left Wyndemere.

Cullum learned that Cassius made a stop at the post office before joining James West (Gary James Fuller) for a day at the pool.

Cullum checked the safe and opened the box that previously contained Britt’s medication vials and saw that they were all gone.

That led to Cullum insisting that Cassius had taken the bait.

It turns out Cullum arranged for Cassius to steal poison vials for Britt, so he expected she’d be eliminated soon and that this loose end would be tied up.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was someone else to handle, but Cullum told Harker that he’d given them two very valuable hostages.

Both Carly and Charlotte could be seen on screen moments later as it became obvious who Cullum’s next kidnapping targets were.

At their hideout in Tortola, Britt told Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) that her symptoms earlier were likely the result of food poisoning and not her Huntington’s disease.

However, Britt anticipated that her Huntington’s symptoms would indeed return and cause her to die soon, so she wanted Rocco to take his passport and go back to his parents when that happened.

Rocco fought Britt on this, but he eventually caved in and agreed to let her be alone when she died.

That said, Rocco hinted about Britt sticking around longer than she thought and secretly hoped for a delivery of her medication.

Back with Cassius, he enjoyed some bonding time with James in the pool and sent a text to Rocco about Britt’s meds being on the way.

At the clinic in France, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) told her doctor everything she wanted to hear.

It was obvious that Anna was working the system as she insisted she knew Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was dead and that her kidnapping had been part of her delusions.

Anna lied about getting recalled by the WSB to fit with the story she knew she had to sell.

After Anna asked if she could call Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), who answered and was delighted to hear Anna was making progress.

Anna asked if Felicia could come visit, so Felicia happily agreed and invited Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) to come with her in the aftermath.

Although the doctor was encouraged by Anna’s good work, she insisted they still had a long way to go in her recovery.

Once Anna was alone, she eventually pulled out a stack of letters and looked at the envelope of a letter she’d already opened.

General Hospital spoilers say Anna will keep working on a plan to ensure her freedom, so stay tuned to see her next move.
