General Hospital Wednesday, May 13 Recap: Cullum Keeps Brennan Locked In, Sidwell Shuts Down Willow’s Drew Plan

General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, May 13, reveals that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) controlled Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) recovery while Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) warned Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) after she overstepped.

At GH, Willow was stern with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) when she found her mom there.

Willow didn’t want Nina raising suspicions by hanging around and waiting for Brennan news.

Nina feared dots would be connected due to the similarities between Brennan and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) “strokes.”

That said, Nina held out hope that maybe Brennan wouldn’t remember what happened when he woke up.

Willow made it clear that she couldn’t gamble with her family’s future before taking off.

At Wyndemere, Sidwell showed Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) old photos of Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) and reflected on Marco’s killer seemingly being someone he trusted enough to get close.

Lucas didn’t spill any Cullum hints, but he did feel guilty for being the reason Marco stuck around Port Charles when he’d have been safer in Miami.

Lucas was surprised when Willow showed up to see Sidwell, but she made up an excuse about his noisy helipads.

Once Lucas was gone, Willow filled Sidwell in on Brennan accidentally getting a dose of Drew’s medication.

Sidwell angrily wondered how this could’ve happened, but Willow didn’t rat Nina out and focused on the problem that needed to be dealt with now.

Willow suggested they should stop drugging Drew since then the focus would be on his recovery and not the “stroke” similarities.

Sidwell argued that Willow would be done the moment Drew could communicate, but Willow suggested he was a smart man and could figure out how to silence Drew.

Sidwell reminded Willow that he was the one giving the orders and that she had the most to lose if they faced exposure.

Back at the hospital, Cullum questioned Nina about what happened before Brennan’s medical crisis.

Cullum also showed Lucas proof that he was Brennan’s medical proxy and quizzed him about Jack’s condition.

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) could see that Lucas was struggling to contain his rage, so she dragged him off under the guise of dealing with another patient.

Although Lucas suggested unleashing Sidwell on Cullum by revealing he was Marco’s killer, he ultimately realized Britt still needed her meds.

Next, Cullum visited unconscious Brennan and suggested he had great timing.

Although Cullum had been thinking about killing him, Brennan was now neutralized.

While an apologetic Nina visited Jack, Cullum met up with Sidwell at Wyndemere.

Sidwell informed Cullum that Brennan had been given a dose of Drew’s medication.

Since things would get even messier if Brennan emerged from his locked-in state, Cullum insisted he couldn’t come out of it.

In Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) office, Jacinda Bracken (Paige Hershell) was there when Elaine (Judy Kain) the PI delivered cozy photos of Willow and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Michael filled Jacinda in on Elaine being part of his cheating trap for Willow, who later showed up while the photos were still on Michael’s desk.

Will Michael manage to hide those pics before Willow can see them?

At the Metro Court Gardens, Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) summoned Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) for help since he botched the latest Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) situation.

Nearby, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) met with Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) about the steps they’d need to take to adopt Phoebe.

That brought some warnings about all the background checks and trouble that could be stirred up.

Chase wasn’t concerned since he didn’t think they were hiding anything, but Brook Lynn looked nervous.

Kristina wound up going over to say hi and accepted when Brook Lynn offered to let her hold Phoebe.

Ethan watched and could tell Kristina was emotional, so she ultimately told him the story of losing her baby girl after clashing with Ava Jerome (Maura West).

Ethan declined to hold Phoebe himself, but he wondered if Kristina thought Phoebe would be happy with Chase and Brook Lynn.

At the cabin, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) told Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) questioning him about the night of Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) crash and assumed Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was the reason why.

Portia believed Isaiah wasn’t the other driver, but she acknowledged that his evasiveness could be a problem.

As Isaiah worried about all this, Portia hoped the person who really fled the scene would be found.

At home, Curtis assured Jordan that he’d get enough evidence for a warrant.

Jordan eventually removed her face bandage and looked at her injuries in the mirror before declaring she wanted the other driver to pay.

General Hospital spoilers say Isaiah has more tight spots ahead of him, so stick with the ABC soap.
