General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, May 27, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had just the person to help track Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) down.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) also learned he was facing some serious charges, so here’s how Wednesday’s episode played out.
At Bobbie’s, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) wanted to celebrate Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) getting into medical school at UCLA, but Kristina acted like she just wanted to conquer the challenge of getting in.
Kristina had secretly been working on this ever since Baby Irene died since everyone was so caring at the hospital.
Although Kristina had a lot of fears about not finishing what she started, Molly felt confident that her sister could tackle this.
In Sonny’s office, he heard what happened between Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Rocco.
Sonny was confident the brothers would work it out and assured Gio that Rocco would be found.
At Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) house, she wondered if Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) thought they should bring the FBI in on a kidnapping case against Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Dante nixed the idea out of fear that they could share too much info with the WSB and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
Dante eventually admitted he was about to call Sonny for help disappearing with Lulu and Rocco before their son went with Britt.
Sonny ultimately stopped by with an offer to have Brick (Stephen A. Smith) locate Rocco, so Lulu and Dante got on board.
During Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) visit to Curtis and Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) place, Curtis ranted about Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) being the one who goaded him into the fight.
Trina was uneasy due to Curtis’ upcoming arraignment, but Curtis and Jordan were hopeful that ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) wouldn’t move forward with prosecuting the case.
Meanwhile, Justine quizzed Isaiah and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about Curtis’ attack.
ADA Turner found out Isaiah’s surgical career was in jeopardy and that he wouldn’t be able to perform a complicated liver transplant on a young boy.
Of course, that boy was Derrick, the kid that Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) visited recently.
Isaiah ultimately had to tell Derrick and his family that he wouldn’t be able to perform the surgery, so he felt guilty in the aftermath.
Once Trina visited Portia at GH, she found out Isaiah’s surgical career might be over.
Even so, Trina was concerned about Curtis’ legal drama and thought maybe Portia could talk Isaiah into showing her dad mercy.
Next, Isaiah spoke to Kai about the Derrick situation.
Isaiah was concerned about the hospital being able to find another surgeon with the right qualifications and experience before time ran out.
Although Isaiah blamed himself on some level for provoking Curtis, Kai held Curtis responsible.
That led to tension between Trina and Kai later since Derrick’s life was on the line because of Curtis’ actions.
Back at Jordan and Curtis’ place, she suggested maybe it was time to put all the accusations about Isaiah being the other driver to rest
ADA Turner eventually arrived with news ahead of Curtis’ arraignment.
Justine wanted to give Curtis and Jordan the heads-up since Curtis would be charged with felony assault and battery.
At the hospital again, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) raced to Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) side after hearing she’d been attacked.
Liz had to stop Ric from overreacting over what happened when Britt locked her up.
Elizabeth talked about Dante coming to her rescue and hinted that Dante had been confiding in her about Rocco’s struggles, so Ric didn’t seem happy about them bonding.
At Bobbie’s again, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) ranted about Britt running with Rocco, but she ultimately shared a sweet moment with supportive Gio.
General Hospital spoilers say Rocco’s mess will continue to make waves, so stay tuned.
