General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, May 6, reveals that Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) destroyed evidence of his link to Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) while Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) needed a favor from Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).
At home, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) found it hard to believe Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was the other driver involved.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) pointed out the guardrail paint lined up with Isaiah’s black BMW and said he would’ve had to take Route 91 to get back from the cabin.
Jordan found out Curtis fished for news from Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and took his suspicions to ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor).
Despite Jordan’s skepticism, she wanted to know the truth and confront Isaiah if an investigation brought firm proof.
At the apartment above Charlie’s Pub, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) ranted about Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) blowing his last shot.
Justine argued that people lied for all kinds of reasons and suggested Sonny needed to dig a bit deeper on this.
In Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) office, she tried to steer Ric away from a relationship with Elizabeth since he was now wrapped up in Laura and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) dangerous Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) drama.
Ric didn’t like deceiving Liz about that, but he also didn’t want to give up what might be his only chance to be with her.
Even so, Laura pushed Ric to at least take a step back from Elizabeth until the Sidwell situation died down.
At GH, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was on edge around Elizabeth and tried to keep Dante from talking to Liz once he showed up.
Dante hinted about asking Britt more questions about the night of the shooting, so she said she had patients and took off.
Once Dante spoke with Liz alone, he admitted he was investigating the shooting since they still had evidence from the pier. Dante suspected a WSB cover-up and needed a favor from Elizabeth.
Two types of blood were found on the gun, so Dante wanted answers about the blood that didn’t belong to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Dante asked Liz to get him a sample of Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) blood, so she got him what he needed since the hospital had drawn some today.
Once “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) arrived at the hospital with a black eye, he claimed a perp gave him some trouble.
“Nathan” spoke with Isaiah privately and wanted to be treated no questions asked.
Isaiah wondered why he should ignore hospital protocol for “Nathan,” but he eventually relented on examining his banged-up ribs.
Since “Nathan” needed some scans, he insisted on going into the system as a John Doe.
Isaiah reluctantly went along with that plan and handed over “John Doe’s” medical info to Britt soon after.
Britt was confused until she walked in the exam room and saw Cassius looking rough.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Ethan fished to find out more about what happened to Delilah.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) gave Ethan the full scoop.
Chase couldn’t shake the feeling that Delilah had something to hide and commented on her ID being missing along with her phone and money.
Brook Lynn and Chase basically acted like fate dropped Phoebe into their laps since they’d been talking about adoption anyway.
Ethan could see that Phoebe was loved and cared for with Chase and Brook Lynn.
Later, Ethan sat on the pier alone and cried as he looked at Delilah’s photo.
After Ethan told Delilah that he was so sorry, he wished he’d been there to keep her safe.
Once Ethan said he saw the baby and that her name was Phoebe, he added that she was beautiful.
“I’ll keep it to myself, OK? No one will ever have to know,” Ethan ultimately said as he took a lighter out and burned Delilah’s photo.
General Hospital spoilers say some twists and turns are still to come in Ethan’s storyline, so stay tuned.
