General Hospital (GH) update for the week of July 27-31 indicates that an important recast will come home to Port Charles while Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) flips out over a new arrival.
Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) will also enjoy his new power at Deception, so that’ll lead to some feuding.
At GH, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will stun Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) by giving him a good smack, but it’ll seemingly just be an excuse to call him a patient and speak privately in an examination room.
Jason will also share a warm embrace with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) when they see each other for the first time since his time in WSB captivity.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may have a job he wants Jason to do for him, but Jason may announce he’s quitting the mob organization to concentrate on being the best dad he can be to Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
Meanwhile, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is in for a shock when she finds out Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is responsible for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) almost drowning.
Drew would be a dead man if it weren’t for Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), who’s going to come to his rescue.
Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) will pull off a rescue of his own when he gives Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) what he wants and scores the leverage contained in the black box.
It may come just in time to stop Drew from divulging the truth about Willow and Nina’s actions.
Next, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will spend an evening with Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner), who’ll put Josslyn through a grilling session now that the news is out about her being a WSB agent.
Trina will also speak with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) about all the Drew lake drama, but they’ll form the wrong theory on what actually happened.
Kai and Trina may end up thinking Willow is behind yet another murder attempt on Drew.
As for Michael, he’ll be on a power trip at Deception now that he’s purchased Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) shares.
There’ll be some faceoffs as a result, but Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will have someone on her side when Serena gets in the mix.
Kelly Kruger’s first episode as a Serena recast will air on July 30.
The same day, Troy Lennon Appel will debut as Hudson, a businessman who’ll likely rattle Ethan in a big way.
It seems Ethan’s efforts to hide from his shady history will fail when Hudson tracks him down, so he’ll have to run far away from PC instead.
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) will be taken aback when Ethan presumably informs her that he’s leaving immediately.
While Jason catches up with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), General Hospital spoilers say Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) will play hardball with someone.
Will this involve another tense interaction with Britt or someone else?
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will also land in a situation where she feels the need to rush to Danny’s defense, so stay tuned to see her stand up for him.
