General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a shocking departure is on the way.
Some major casting shakeups have been happening behind the scenes, so viewers can expect more changes – including a deadly exit story this fall since Chris McKenna is OUT as Jack Brennan.
According to Soap Opera Network’s sources, McKenna is set to depart the show and will take his final bow as Brennan gets killed off.
Although there’s no word on McKenna’s last airdate just yet, Brennan will reportedly face a grim fate as the WSB drama heats up this autumn.
GH fans will recall that after Charles Mesure’s abrupt exit, Chris McKenna was hired as a Jack Brennan recast.
McKenna debuted as Brennan back in February 2025 and made the role his own in the months that followed.
Brennan has been a big part of the action in recent months due to his WSB involvement and all the chaos that played out with Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
Now Jack is getting tangled up in a Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) romance and has helped Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) blackmail Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
However, it apparently won’t be long until Brennan’s exit arc gets underway.
Of course, there’s still some time left to enjoy McKenna’s portrayal and watch any other complications that might be in the works for his character.
