General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) feels like the walls are closing in now that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is on the run.
Sidwell’s fugitive status means that Willow no longer has a paralytic drug supplier for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Of course, that means it’s more important than ever for Willow to get her hands on the dirt to keep Drew quiet.
Willow knows that if Drew comes out of his locked-in state and starts blabbing before she’s holding leverage over him, it could end in disaster!
Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) claims to have the evidence Willow needs to keep Drew’s mouth shut since he misappropriated federal funds and could land in prison for it.
However, Brennan maintains that Willow and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) have to help him recover so he can access the private safe at the WSB office where that proof is tucked away.
Naturally, there’s no guarantee this leverage truly exists since we only have Brennan’s word to go on, but Willow is certainly counting on it being real.
Let’s look at what Katelyn MacMullen had to say about the situation in a new interview with SOD.
“She is definitely racing against the clock…The clock is ticking and she needs this evidence against Drew, like, yesterday!” MacMullen insisted.
Although Willow has perhaps considered the idea that Brennan is lying about the Drew dirt, she doesn’t want to think about the alternative.
Brennan’s promise of proof is giving Willow some desperately needed hope right about now.
“But she wants to believe him, because if he’s telling the truth, it would be the biggest relief in the world to her,” MacMullen said.
That’s why Willow feels like she has to go along with whatever Brennan says.
Brennan is offering a path to Willow’s nightmare finally being over – at least when it comes to all the Drew drugging drama.
Things are rarely that simple on the ABC soap, so GH fans should be prepared for curveballs.
Katelyn MacMullen teased that more shocking news is ahead as this storyline gets even hotter.
“Let’s just say the writers aren’t out of surprises. There’s more fun stuff coming up!” MacMullen promised.
Willow’s next hurdle will be trying to stop Drew from communicating through the tools that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) keeps pushing for, so that’ll add another problem to the list.
