The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) isn’t winning over many viewers these days with her outrageous behavior.
The character has undergone some major changes, but most of them haven’t gone over well with B&B fans.
In the beginning, it was easy to root for Katie and her new fashion house.
Katie felt cast aside at Forrester Creations and had every right to pursue this fresh path thanks to Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) funding.
Likewise, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) was the shameful one back then for causing such a fuss when Katie wanted to use their shared last name for the business.
Katie is just as much a Logan as Brooke is, so Brooke was in the wrong.
Plenty of viewers were on Katie’s side in the whole Eric Forrester (John McCook) debacle as well since he was the one who came to her.
Katie didn’t steal Eric in that case; it was just a matter of her taking the help that was offered.
Even with Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), it was tough to blame Katie for snatching up her disrespected niece considering how unhappy Hope was at Forrester Creations.
However, now Katie is heading into more vindictive territory by plotting to poach Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz).
Katie promised Brooke she wouldn’t go after any more Forresters, but she’s obviously breaking that vow.
If Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) needs help, there are surely a ton of fashion designers who’d love the chance to work alongside him.
Katie acts like Zende is the only designer in Los Angeles when she could just as easily hire someone else.
It’s true that Zende feels underappreciated like Hope did, but it still feels like Katie is intentionally trying to get back at the Forresters and stir the pot.
Katie seems to thrive on creating drama at this point, but it isn’t a good look for her.
Of course, Katie has also been awfully hard on Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) for no real reason.
We can understand why Katie might be a bit wary of Dylan being a gold digger, but she’s judging Dylan unfairly and acting like she’s the worst woman alive.
Dylan has done nothing to warrant this level of concern from Katie.
If anything, Katie should be rooting for Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) to get away from Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) after all the times she’s stomped on his heart.
Dylan seems like a perfect princess compared to someone like Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada), so Katie needs to be grateful she’s the one interested in Will and not some dangerous lunatic.
Instead, Katie is backing Dylan into tight spots and forcing her to prove herself.
It’s not right for Katie to think she can run Will’s love life, but she’s certainly trying her best to do that.
Bottom line, Katie has become quite obnoxious and controlling lately.
On social media, many fans have been calling for a character reboot that restores Katie to the person she used to be.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Katie’s actions will lead to bad news for Forrester Creations, but maybe she’ll get back on a better path after everything blows up.
