The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, August 31, indicate that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will inadvertently deliver a warning to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), so he’ll make it even harder to her to keep up the deception.
B&B fans know that Steffy has decided to bury what happened with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) since it’d break Finn’s heart if he knew.
Steffy doesn’t want to devastate Finn and risk losing him, so she’s willing to keep quiet about her hot encounter with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
Since coming clean would ruin Carter and Daphne Walton’s (Murielle Hilaire) marriage too, that’s another good reason for Steffy to avoid blabbing.
Steffy will double down on all her lying in Monday’s episode, but Finn will say something that leaves her struggling even more.
After Finn talks about secrets destroying marriages, it’ll really hit Steffy hard.
Of course, Finn will be referring to his own secret regarding Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) Monaco mischief since he should’ve confessed to Steffy immediately.
Finn will want Steffy to understand that he’s committed to total honesty and will once again apologize for how he handled things with Sheila.
Steffy’s guilt will be eating her alive at that point, but she’ll stuff it down and try to focus on the task at hand.
The goal now is to put the past to rest, so Steffy will play up how they have to forget their mistakes and start fresh.
Finn will think he’s getting his wish, but this marriage reconciliation will be built on Steffy and Carter’s huge lie.
As for Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), she’ll feel terrible about leaving her laptop open where Sheila could see all the news she needed regarding Finn’s plane ride.
That’s what kicked off Sheila’s Monaco mission, which obviously ended in catastrophe.
Although Li will feel like it’s her fault that Sheila interfered, Finn may reassure his adoptive mom soon.
Finn is the one who bungled things since he should’ve told Steffy right away and made sure Sheila was actually on a flight home.
Over with Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), they’ll be united on something.
Despite their rocky history, Taylor and Brooke may agree when it comes to their support of Forrester Creations.
Brooke and Taylor may even voice the same opinion regarding Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and her betrayal.
Since Brooke hasn’t been able to forgive Hope yet, that could leave her with the same point of view as Taylor on Monday’s show.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say the fashion house feud between Forrester and Logan will lead to new obstacles for both companies, so stay tuned.
