The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Monday, May 11, reveals Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) didn’t get the answer he was looking for from Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) while Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) refused to let Steffy stand in the way of her own dreams.
At the cliff house, Steffy complained to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) about Hope causing such a fuss at work.
It left Steffy questioning whether Hope and her line were even worth the trouble anymore.
Finn eventually distracted Steffy with some passion and gave her a chance to put any office hostility out of her mind.
At Forrester Creations, Hope gave Liam disappointing news since she wasn’t leaving the company to join Logan.
Liam found out about Hope pushing Brooke to steal the co-CEO spot from Steffy and seemed concerned about whether Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) would actually get on board with that idea.
If Ridge couldn’t be convinced, Liam acted like there’d be nothing to stop Hope from ditching Forrester for Logan.
However, Hope felt like Brooke had a way of getting what she wanted when it came to Ridge.
That left Hope counting on Brooke to become co-CEO and save her line’s future at Forrester.
At the Logan office, Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) explained to Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) that Liam came up with the idea of hiring Hope at her fashion house.
Since Liam saw how fed up Hope was with Steffy’s mistreatment of her, he wanted to offer her a better path forward.
Donna was less concerned about Liam’s intentions and more concerned about the fallout this would bring with Brooke.
Since Brooke would be livid and this would blow up their family even more, Donna made it clear that hiring Hope wouldn’t be worth all the drama.
At Brooke’s house, Ridge brought up Steffy as Brooke continued her co-CEO pitch.
Although Brooke wasn’t trying to put Ridge in an uncomfortable spot with his daughter, Ridge felt like that’s exactly what she was doing.
Nevertheless, Brooke played how she deserved to run the company alongside Ridge and left him wondering if she was giving him an ultimatum.
Brooke brought up the situation with Katie and used that as a way to explain why she wanted more power at Forrester Creations.
As Brooke insisted they should be the king and queen of Forrester, Ridge remained torn about all this.
Since Brooke had a lot of followers, she felt like they’d generate plenty of online buzz if she stepped up as Ridge’s co-CEO.
Brooke kept pushing Ridge to say yes and tell Steffy along with everyone else that she’d be taking over that position.
As Monday’s B&B episode wrapped up, Ridge kissed Brooke and stared into her eyes as he contemplated everything she’d told him.
