The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers hint that the show may have scrapped a love story that they previously seemed determined to pursue.
Some writing changes may have resulted in a romantic duo entering the friend zone for good.
RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) pitched a youth line with Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) at the center of it, so they’ve been working hard to bring it to life.
Although RJ understands Electra’s vision and shares a sweet bond with her, the show isn’t leaning into a romantic angle anymore.
That’s different from how things were when Brayan Nicoletti first came on the scene as an RJ recast.
RJ was immediately smitten with Electra and shared kisses with her, but now their relationship is more friendly and professional.
If there was ever a time for Electra and RJ to get together, it’s now.
Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) is moving on with Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock), so there must be a reason why B&B isn’t allowing Electra to do the same with RJ.
Is it because the show finally wised up and realized it was weird to pair up these two Forresters?
RJ isn’t a Forrester by blood, but it still felt strange for him to share so many family members with Electra while chasing after her romantically.
Fall preview spoilers focus on RJ and Electra’s business partnership and don’t point to any romantic lines getting crossed again.
Instead of including dialogue daily explaining how Electra and RJ aren’t blood related, the show’s just concentrating on them as a fashion team now.
If they wanted to push Electra and RJ’s romance, they’d be making out constantly like Dylan and Will!
Will still has Electra’s heart, so this seems more like a case of her pining for him until he decides he’s done with Dylan.
