The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) big idea is sure to cause quite a stir.
Now that Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) has returned to Los Angeles, he’s learned Bill has a plan that centers around the Hope for the Future diamond.
That diamond was part of a publicity stunt for a Hope for the Future campaign years ago, so Bill is obviously hoping to use it for Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) debut at Logan.
There are going to be some soapy obstacles when it comes to making this happen, but Bill seems awfully determined.
Of course, Forrester Creations still owns Hope for the Future, so it’s not like Bill can really call it the Hope for the Future diamond anymore.
If Bill tries, then Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) are going to throw a fit.
It could lead to some lawsuit drama and add to the Forrester-Logan rivalry that’s already in play on B&B.
Even if this is less about the name and more about hyping up the diamond itself, the Forresters are sure to have a problem with this.
Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) has already been facing accusations about essentially copying Forrester Creations and being unable to generate ideas on her own.
There’s arguably some truth to that since Katie’s first collection involved using Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) designs and now she’s poaching Hope from Forrester.
Bill is hoping to generate buzz using the Hope for the Future diamond of the past as well.
It definitely seems like Katie is piggybacking on what they’ve done at Forrester Creations in hopes of making Logan a success.
Whatever the case, Bill will no doubt put the pieces in place for a huge publicity stunt involving the kickoff of Hope’s line.
The diamond should play a role in what’s ahead and give the Forresters another reason to blow up at the Spencers down the road.
