The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, September 14, reveal that Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) will sense that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is bottling something up, so she’ll grow concerned about what her daughter’s hiding.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy just broke the news to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) that she’s pregnant.
Carter is obviously in total shock, but Steffy will confirm that it’s true since she took multiple tests to be sure.
Of course, the show will have to address the paternity issue at some point.
Is John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) also a father possibility or has he perhaps been too tired from work lately to squeeze in his usual passion with Steffy?
Between Finn’s busy schedule and all the Monaco chaos that later strained things, it’s possible Carter is the only one Steffy’s sizzled with in the right time frame for conception.
If that’s the case, Steffy may feel certain that her drunken encounter with Carter is going to be exposed through his biological child.
Carter will push Steffy to just keep quiet until they can figure something out, but she’ll worry this is all spiraling out of control.
Once Steffy returns home, Taylor will come over for a visit and see that Steffy seems rattled.
Taylor will suspect Steffy is hiding something and will put her daughter through a grilling session.
Steffy might be tempted to unload everything she’s dealing with, but she won’t spill her secret to Taylor in the end.
Maybe Steffy will try to convince Taylor that she’s just still struggling over all the Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) drama that went down.
Regardless, Steffy’s behavior will seem rather odd as far as Taylor’s concerned.
It’ll leave Taylor feeling like she’s not getting the whole story, so she’ll turn to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) with her fears eventually.
As for Steffy, she’ll continue to worry that this baby’s existence is going to break up the happy family she’s formed with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras) and Hayes Finnegan (Bryan David Garlick).
The wheels will start turning for Carter soon when it comes to a potential way to avoid cheating exposure.
Since Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) needs a surrogate and would prefer someone she knows, Carter will try to shove already pregnant Steffy into that position later during the week of September 14-18.
In the meantime, Finn will have a conversation with Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) on Monday’s B&B episode about his devotion to Steffy and the family they’ve built together.
