The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will face more pressure from Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
That should lead to Steffy moving ahead with the surrogacy scheme while John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is out of town.
B&B fans saw that Finn was stunned when Steffy pitched the idea of her being Daphne Rose Walton’s (Murielle Hilaire) egg donor and surrogate.
Although Finn admires Steffy’s kind heart for wanting to help, he feels like this is taking things way too far.
Finn pushed Steffy to see that a decision like this would affect their family as well.
It could be confusing for the kids if Steffy brings a half-sibling into the world and then gives the baby away.
Plus, it would be hard for Steffy to surrender her child to Daphne and Carter, so Finn was really just bringing up some of the concerns Steffy’s already been struggling with.
In the end, Finn thought he got through to Steffy, but he should be in for a rude awakening when he comes home from his medical conference.
Finn offered to stick around for Steffy, but she pushed him to go to the conference as planned since he’ll be speaking at it.
This is an important commitment for Finn, but Steffy still seems poised to make an important one of her own.
Once Steffy goes to Carter and admits Finn shut down her surrogacy plan, Carter may insist she has to move ahead without his blessing.
In fact, Carter may argue that they have to pretend Steffy had the procedure done while Finn’s away.
Steffy will no doubt balk at the thought of blindsiding Finn when he returns to Los Angeles, but Carter may remind her the alternative is worse.
If they don’t hurry up and get the fake surrogacy process in motion, Steffy and Carter won’t be able to sell this lie.
That means both Finn and Daphne could end up devastated over the true baby conception news instead.
Carter will push Steffy to see that the only way to protect their marriages is to make this surrogacy deception work, but it has to happen immediately.
With Finn out of town, Carter may suggest it’ll actually make lying easier since he won’t be around to ask too many questions.
It’ll be simpler to deceive Finn about a fake procedure in the aftermath, so that’s presumably what Steffy will do.
Finn may be in for a shock when he comes home and learns Steffy started the surrogacy process without his knowledge or approval.
It could lead to some clashing, but Steffy may insist this is just something she felt strongly about.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn and Steffy will try to work through their issues, but that won’t stop the full-blown baby blowup that’s destined to happen down the road.
