The Bold and the Beautiful Thursday, May 7 Recap: Brooke Ready to Steal Steffy’s Job

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Thursday, May 7, reveals that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) got weepy over Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) pitch and admitted she felt she deserved to be the boss alongside Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

At Brooke’s house, Hope continued griping over how exhausting it was dealing with Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Brooke argued that Hope for the Future’s delay was only temporary and wasn’t personal, but Hope remained agitated.

Hope eventually hinted about not having much time left and suggested she wasn’t sure how much more she could take.

Hope also played up Brooke’s contributions to the company and felt that her mom had made herself small to survive.

After Hope insisted Brooke belonged in the co-CEO spot alongside Ridge, Brooke initially acted like she couldn’t put Ridge in an awkward position.

However, Hope kept at it, so Brooke eventually cried and said Hope was absolutely right about her deserving to be co-CEO.

Brooke wanted to run the company with Ridge the way Eric Forrester (John McCook) had run it with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery).

Hope was pleased over Brooke’s turning point as they held hands in an emotional moment on Thursday’s B&B episode.

At the Logan office, Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) voiced her fears to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) about Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) siding with Brooke if she stole Hope away from Forrester Creations.

There was a lot at stake since Katie could risk losing her sisters.

Of course, Liam stood by his belief that hiring Hope was a risk worth taking and that it’d have huge benefits for Logan.

Back at Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) tried to tell Steffy that maybe a softer touch was needed with Hope.

At the very least, Steffy didn’t need to be laughing in Hope’s face when she tried to share her feelings.

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) agreed with Ridge about it being a delicate situation since he knew the Forresters didn’t want to lose Hope like they lost Katie.

Although Carter didn’t think Steffy should alienate Hope, Steffy wasn’t worried at all about Hope leaving Forrester.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy’s sure to get some shocking news about Hope’s future soon, so stay tuned.
