The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) preview video for the week of August 17-21 reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will fly back to Los Angeles with one goal in mind while Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) lays down the law with Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock).
B&B’s weekly promo kicks off with Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) confronting Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) for saying he misses Electra while hooking up with her best friend.
Of course, Will may argue that Electra dumped him and made it clear that they’re never getting back together.
Dylan is offering comfort, so Will may not see why he shouldn’t accept it.
Meanwhile, Electra and Dylan will have a fierce faceoff at the office.
Since Dylan is making moves on Will and riling her now former bestie up, Electra will point out that her job could be in jeopardy.
“I am Electra FORRESTER! If I want it, you’re gone,” Electra warns Dylan in the weekly preview video.
It sounds like Electra will threaten to have Dylan fired if she keeps up her Will pursuit.
Dylan may insist only Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) can decide her fate at Forrester Creations, but Electra may counter that she could convince them to give Dylan the boot.
However, Steffy has more important things on her mind right now that her marriage has totally collapsed.
Since Steffy thinks her relationship with Finn is over, she’s drunk and ready to lean on Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) for support.
Steffy will continue explaining all the drama to Carter, who’ll listen as she says all she ever wanted was to be free of the woman who’s trying to destroy her family.
All this Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) chaos has left Steffy feeling like enough is enough.
Carter is drunk as well due to Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) leaving him, so Steffy will console him too as B&B most likely builds to a passionate encounter.
Carter and Steffy seem poised to cross that line in their drunken state.
As for Finn, he’ll race home on a plane and declare that he needs to get to Steffy before it’s too late.
Based on how things are playing out for Carter and Steffy so far, Finn may indeed be too late to stop his wife from committing the ultimate betrayal!
