The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that one B&B star recently shared some huge news on social media. Matthew Atkinson (Thomas Forrester) spilled something amazing along with his wife, Brytnee Ratledge Atkinson, so let’s talk about what the happy couple told their followers.
In a joint Instagram post, Matthew can be seen gently touching Brytnee’s very visible baby bump, so they’re expecting their second child together.
The pair also confirmed the gender through a sweet “Baby Girl Atkinson loading…” caption.
Brytnee and Matthew married back in November 2023, but it wasn’t long until they became a family of three.
The couple welcomed a baby boy in 2024, so they already have a son who’ll soon become a big brother to his little sister who’s on the way.
Matthew Atkinson received plenty of congratulatory comments under his post from fans as well as costars, including Naomi Matsuda (Li Finnegan), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester Finnegan), Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter) and more.
It’s certainly exciting to hear that Brytnee and Matthew Atkinson are expanding their family.
Of course, some fans can’t help but hope for a different announcement, too – namely one involving Thomas’ next B&B comeback.
The show left things open-ended for Thomas, who came back as a designer for the Hope for the Future line.
Thomas decided to work remotely since he didn’t want to disrupt Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Samiri) life in Paris, but he agreed to travel back to Los Angeles when necessary.
That means Thomas could still become part of the action again at any time.
LA is just a flight away, so we’ll keep you posted on any future Thomas visits that might be on the horizon.
