The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show’s branching out with something exciting and new.
A fresh reality competition series is in the works that’ll lead to a cast member joining the CBS soap.
Jeff Jenkins serves as the executive producer of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and has been part of plenty of other successful shows over the years.
Now Jenkins is ready to make a splash with some new projects at Jeff Jenkins Productions, including one that’ll be of interest to many B&B fans.
According to Variety, Jenkins is teaming up with Bell-Philip Television Productions on a new reality competition series.
This series going into development will be called The Bold and the Unscripted, so let’s talk about the details.
Contestants who go up against each other on this show will be competing for quite a prize.
The final winner will score a recurring role on B&B, so this competition will lead to someone actually joining the CBS soap and making their debut.
“I think it’s going to be such a fun show, very unexpected. I’ve never seen anything like it,” Jenkins said.
Since this project brings something different to the table, that’s exactly why Jenkins wants to make it happen.
Jenkins made it clear that he likes to think outside the box instead of doing the same old thing.
“And frankly, that’s also what gets me out of bed, taking buyers’ opportunities that they haven’t heard before. I don’t want to bring you the 300th version of “Real Housewives,’” Jenkins insisted.
Of course, viewers will be eager to find out more about the contestants who’ll be competing on The Bold and the Unscripted, especially since one of them will eventually become a recurring B&B star.
