The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) recently took a scary tumble and hurt herself in the process.
The Y&R star shared some bad news on social media and filled fans in on a painful accident.
It turns out Davidson did a cold plunge, but she fell when it was time to emerge from it.
That led to a fracture and surgery, so she’ll have to take it easy for multiple weeks as she recovers.
Fortunately, Davidson remained in good spirits and joked around about the whole mishap.
After sharing a photo of herself on the dancefloor, she shared another one of her injury and suggested she wouldn’t be putting on her dancing shoes for a while.
“I sure won’t be making those moves anytime soon!” Eileen Davidson said on Instagram.
“Slipped getting out of a cold plunge and fractured my patella. I’m gonna be down for the count for quite a few weeks recovering from surgery. Thanks to the EMTs and the great team at @losrobleshospital”
It’s good to know that Davidson was taken care of during her medical ordeal and that she’s on the road to recovery.
Davidson received lots of well wishes from fans and other soap stars in the comments, so let’s hope she’s feeling the love!
Thankfully, it looks like Eileen Davidson already filmed scenes for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) upcoming wedding, so those won’t be affected by her injury and recovery time.
As for what Ashley will be up to once she’s back on-screen, look for her to disagree with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) about Billy’s bride.
Ashley and Traci won’t see eye to eye on whether Sally is the best spouse for their brother,
but they’ll work through any issues like they always do!
The Abbotts may clash sometimes, but they always find a way forward as a family.
