It sounds like Jill’s health could take another terrible turn and leave Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) reeling.
In a new interview with TV Guide, Jason Thompson offered up some hints about Billy’s upcoming wedding to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as well as the aftermath.
Sally and Billy are indeed gearing up for some unforgettable moments.
After Thompson talked about the “twists and turns” of the big day, he added that the story will undergo some huge shifts.
Thompson suggested that the drama tied to this event could make waves for decades.
“The ripple effects are quite large—things that we could play for the next 10, 20 years, frankly,” Thompson said.
Thompson also confirmed that Sally and Billy would say “I do,” so they’ll officially be a married couple once their Gatsby-themed ceremony plays out.
Following Sally’s false alarm labor suspicions at her bachelorette party, she’ll go into labor for real soon after exchanging vows with Billy.
However, the start of Sally and Billy’s new family chapter won’t mean an end to the dramatic curveballs.
Jason Thompson insisted that “there’s no time to be boring” after their baby’s arrival.
The Y&R star also promised a Jill crisis is about to shake things up, so let’s take a closer look at what he teased about that.
“And there’s something pretty serious that goes down with Jill, and it throws everything into the blender in that moment,” Thompson said.
Since there’s been no confirmed news yet on Jess Walton’s return or Lauren Koslow filling in again, that could mean Jill won’t make it to the wedding festivities.
