The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, May 11, indicate that some fierce threats will be tossed around while scary news spreads.
There’ll be some heated arguments and some tricky situations happening all over town, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
At the athletic club, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will catch Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) trying to pry Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) blackmail material out of Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), but Michael will insist he keeps his wife out of the loop.
Phyllis may not be able to go after Victor using past crimes, but she’ll think maybe Michael could score an audio recording of Victor confessing to this one.
Michael will dismiss that suggestion, especially since he’s Phyllis’ lawyer.
Phyllis will try to give Michael a one-week deadline to come up with a better plan, but he’ll basically think he’s the only one crazy enough to tackle this case.
The expert Michael talked to will think the emails are authentic, so Phyllis will realize the AI program is that good.
Even if they get other experts to prove the evidence is false, it could lead to the authorities uncovering Phyllis’ own AI-related crimes.
Later, Phyllis will spot Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) at the bar and saunter over.
After Phyllis threatens to expose Christine as a corrupt Newman puppet in the media, Christine will threaten to sue her for defamation and take her money right along with her freedom.
At home, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will enjoy a phone call with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and will be pleased to hear hope in her daughter’s voice.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) will eventually enter the cottage with some shockers regarding Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), who’s indeed back in Genoa City and claims to have amnesia.
Nick’s first instinct will be to think it’s more manipulation on Matt’s part, but Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will acknowledge that she might’ve hit him hard enough to cause memory loss.
After Sienna finds out Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) was with Noah at the park cafe, it’ll seem like more jealousy is bubbling up.
Next, Adam will assure Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) that he’s done with his life of gambling and can fight whatever pull he still feels to it.
Chelsea will comment on the tone of Adam’s voice whenever he speaks to Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani), but Adam will act like that’s just Spider’s persona.
Even so, it’ll concern Chelsea to see just how easily Adam is able to slip into playing the role of Spider.
Adam will repeatedly insist he only wants the life he’s building with Chelsea and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), but she’ll remain on edge.
Chelsea will also question Victor about whether the proof against Phyllis, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is legit, but Adam will side with his dad and act like justice is being served regardless.
Nick will eventually show up and reveal that Matt has resurfaced with amnesia claims. After Nick and Adam end up back at the park café, Adam will notice his brother sees extra riled up and will wonder if he’s craving a pill.
Nick will point out that he’s allowed to be upset over Matt’s comeback and will admit he hasn’t really eaten today, so Adam will go inside to grab him some food.
Once Adam’s gone, Nick will pull out a baggie with a fentanyl pill left in it and look like he wants to take it.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick’s road to recovery will come with some difficulties, so stay tuned.
