The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will experience some highs and lows during the week of August 3-7.
Things will start off on a terrible note as Nick faces a nightmare during his rehab stint.
In Y&R’s August 3 episode, Nick will dream that he can’t resist the fentanyl in front of him.
After Nick takes drugs again, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will insist Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) is dead because of Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
This dream version of Sharon will rant at Nick for not being able to save Noah from a grisly outcome.
Nick will wake up feeling tormented and will quickly decide this whole rehab thing was a bad idea.
By the time the August 4 episode airs, it looks like Nick will check himself out of rehab almost as fast as he checked in!
Nick may argue that he can handle the temptation on his own, but more of it is indeed on the way.
Nick will get a brief distraction on August 5 since that’s when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will renew their vows.
Nick will be there for the small ceremony at the ranch, so that’ll give him some joy in the midst of his crisis.
However, that crisis will get worse as the week winds down.
On August 7, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will realize they need to join forces for Nick’s sake.
It’s possible Nick will relapse or at least come dangerously close to it.
Victoria and Adam might determine that Nick should’ve stayed the course at the rehab facility.
That could lead to Adam and Victoria pushing Nick to check back in so he can truly get the help he needs.
At the very least, Nick will need to go to a meeting soon.
Regardless of how it all goes down, we know Jade Harlow is set to make her debut in the role of Marie Kirkland on August 10.
It sounds like Nick’s crisis could pave the way for Marie’s debut if she’s an addict like him.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Marie will be looking for a new beginning like Nick is, so stay tuned to see if any romantic news might be brewing.
