The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) might have an idea to lift Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) spirits and stop his downward spiral.
If Phyllis pitches the idea of a romantic trip with Matt, they just might be on a collision course with Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)!
Following Matt’s emotional phone call, Phyllis will visit him in his motel room and offer some comfort.
Matt will worry he’s beyond redemption and that he’s only going to cause more pain if he sticks around.
Phyllis may grill Matt and find out Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) tried to convince him that he’s destined to commit more crimes.
Patty feels like Matt is evil to the core and that he’s inevitably going to snap again, so he might as well embrace his true colors.
That’s not what Matt wants, so he’ll cry on Phyllis’ shoulder and get some reassurance.
Phyllis will have faith in Matt’s transformation, so she may think the real problem is all the naysayers who keep doubting him.
Perhaps Phyllis will suggest they should get out of Genoa City for a while and take a little romantic getaway for two.
Matt would probably be receptive to that idea right about now, so maybe Phyllis will indeed catch a flight with him.
On September 4, Y&R spoilers say Jack and Diane’s trip will come with a curveball.
Something will happen that derails Diane and Jack’s plans, so what’s it going to be?
We could speculate that Phyllis lands in Tahiti with Matt, so they might inadvertently crash Diane and Jack’s own island getaway.
Matt and Phyllis could shake things up with their arrival, so that could explain why Jack and Diane are about to face some shocking news!
