The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) clearly has a plan in motion when it comes to Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns).
Diane has been working to convince Dr. Markham that she trusts him and that she believes in the mental health journey they’re taking together.
Of course, Diane knows Dr. Markham must be working with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), which makes him a dangerous quack!
This is just a situation where Diane has to play the game and flirt with Dr. Markham to get him to let his guard down.
Based on Y&R’s June 30 episode and Diane’s suggestion of cooking dinner for Dr. Marham, we have a pretty good idea of where this storyline is headed next.
Diane knows Dr. Markham is finally going to give her the sedatives he promised, so we have to consider the timing here.
It’s surely no coincidence that Diane will be receiving sedatives right as she’s about to cook Dr. Markham a romantic feast for two.
There’s a good chance Diane will plop some sedatives into Dr. Markham’s soup or something along those lines.
Diane can serve up a big bowl and have Dr. Markham sedated in no time if her plan works.
That said, Diane will be taking a huge risk since Dr. Markham might figure out what she’s up to.
We could imagine Dr. Markham catching Diane as she drugs his food, so he might confront her or even just secretly switch their meals.
Diane’s escape plot could lead to troubling news if she ends up heavily sedated and unable to find a way out as planned.
On the other hand, it’s possible Diane’s scheme could actually pay off – at least when it comes to sedating Dr. Markham.
That would give Diane an opportunity to look for an exit route, but that could bring more setbacks.
Diane could still struggle to find a way out of Dr. Markham’s fortress, but Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will work on some new plots to save her in the coming episodes.
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Diane may have a doomed dinner in mind for Dr. Markham, so stay tuned to see the results of her efforts.
