The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 1, reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be skeptical when it comes to Sienna Bacall’s (Tamara Braun) recent claims about Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) death.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also back Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) into a corner and force his son’s painful admission.
It looks like Nick, Sharon, Sienna and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) will all be back in Genoa City on Friday’s Y&R episode.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be back as well, so Adam may give Victor a heads-up on Nick’s drug issues.
Whatever the case, Victor will have an important conversation with Nick later and push him to get honest.
Since Nick has a serious drug addiction, Victor will want to hear the truth straight from him.
Of course, Victor will also want the latest Matt news, but Sienna’s deadly story will be met with skepticism.
That’ll be especially true for Sharon, who’ll apparently worry that Sienna lied and covered for Matt so he could get away.
Sharon may be partly right if Sienna reached an agreement with Matt to fake his demise, but her motives may not be shady.
Sienna might’ve gone along with this as a way to protect Noah and his family.
On the other hand, there’s a chance Sienna truly believes she wiped Matt off the map.
Regardless, Matt is still alive despite Y&R’s attempt to make fans believe he’s gone forever.
It’ll be interesting to hear Sienna’s explanation for the blood splatters and what happened to Matt’s body, but Matt will obviously return for more drama eventually.
In the meantime, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will get ready to play hardball with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
If Phyllis is really going to dig her heels in and insist on going to court, Victoria will want to make sure they’re fully prepared for her takedown.
Victoria won’t rest until the Newman empire is returned to her family and certainly won’t mind if Phyllis pays the price for causing so much trouble.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say prison will remain a fear for Phyllis, but her stubbornness may continue to win out for now.
