The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 15, reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will sneak off for a risky reason while Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) spend some time at their New York hotel.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will also do something that stuns Cane, Ashby (Billy Flynn), so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
For starters, we should address Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) attempt to strike a deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) now that she’s got Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) tucked away in a GCAC suite.
Phyllis wants all the charges dropped in exchange for Matt, but Victor wants the Newman empire back, too.
If they can’t reach an agreement, Victor may take his chances and continue relying on his security team to track Matt down.
Of course, even if a deal is made, Matt could go off exploring again and derail Phyllis’ attempt to keep her end of the bargain.
There are plenty of ways this could go wrong, so Matt may not be the amazing leverage that Phyllis had in mind.
As for Nick, he’ll be desperate for a fentanyl fix and will seek out a drug dealer (Chris Wenchell) to make it happen.
It looks like Nick will score more pills and prove that his addiction still has a tight grip on him.
In New York, Holden and Claire will catch up with Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox), so they’ll discuss Malcolm Winters’ (Shemar Moore) upcoming procedure.
Although Holden doesn’t really know Malcolm yet, he’s hoping for the chance at bonding if all goes well.
Claire and Holden will share some close moments alone in a hotel suite while Lily catches Cane by surprise back in Genoa City.
Cane may admit he thought she’d be in New York by now, but she’ll apparently stick around to make sure his own surgery goes smoothly.
Lily might even give Cane a kiss before she finally catches her New York flight and show Cane just how grateful she is.
