The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) may get his reunion wish, but that’ll put him in another tight spot.
Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will continue to be a problem for Jack, so let’s consider how things might play out.
Based on Diane Jenkins Abbott’s (Susan Walters) voicemail in Y&R’s May 14 episode, Jack’s about to get a very hopeful message for the first time since all the Patty chaos started on the yacht.
However, Diane may have some lingering concerns about Patty, especially after having a horrible nightmare about Jack moving on with her.
Once Jack and Diane finally talk through all the drama, he may assure his wife that she’s still the one and only woman he wants.
That said, there may be a new issue that could threaten Diane and Jack’s reunion.
It’s not a good idea for Jack to keep secrets from Diane – and he certainly can’t be sneaking around with Patty for vengeful Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) strategy sessions behind Diane’s back.
With that in mind, Jack might drop his alliance with Patty or at least confess his plan to Diane.
Perhaps Jack will admit Patty is in the best position to help make Victor pay, but he could also offer to ditch the idea if Diane doesn’t approve.
Diane wants Victor payback as well, but she still blames Patty for her part in what happened.
The fact that Jack’s even considering a Patty alliance may leave Diane outraged.
Nevertheless, Diane and Jack love each other, so that’s the most important thing.
That love could help Diane get past whatever confession Jack might make about a potential Patty partnership, but that doesn’t mean she’ll allow it.
Diane may insist it’s just too weird for her under the circumstances and push Jack to cut off contact with Patty completely.
That could lead to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) taking the lead on this Victor revenge mission like he previously hinted about.
Whatever the case, nothing matters more to Jack than fixing his marriage to Diane, so let’s hope he’s willing to prove it’s his priority.
