The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) may decide to make a bold move after Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) gets arrested.
This will feel like Lily’s worst nightmare since Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) needs Cane’s help as soon as possible.
Since Cane is Malcolm’s bone marrow donor match, he was all set to head to New York for the procedure.
Cane won’t be able to do that once he’s suddenly in handcuffs and being taken down to the GCPD.
However, Cane will vow to get this sorted out with Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) help.
If Cane can get his bail posted and get court approval to travel to New York for his life-saving efforts, the procedure can still move forward after this delay.
Even so, Lily won’t want to see Cane thrown in prison after everything he’s doing for Malcolm.
Cane’s legal woes may add to Lily’s guilt over her previous partnership with Victor and the fake kidnapping drama.
Lily may soon have a way to make things right if she goes to Victor and pitches a new deal.
Victor previously promised Lily control of Chancellor in exchange for her faux abduction cooperation, but he hasn’t come through yet.
That’s because Victor wanted to hold onto Chancellor for this AI program plot and pretend they found the emails in a forensic sweep of the company.
Since Victor has assured Lily she’ll get Chancellor control eventually, she may go to him and insist she doesn’t want it anymore.
Y&R spoilers suggest Lily might try to strike a new deal and insist she wants Cane’s freedom instead.
Lily may sacrifice her opportunity to get Chancellor back for Cane’s sake and plead with Victor to get Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) to drop the charges against her ex.
It’s true that there’s fake evidence against Cane and even Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), but the Newmans could push Christine to focus on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) as the real enemy here.
Of course, it’s possible Victor will make a counteroffer and suggest that if Lily can get Phyllis to surrender the Newman empire, he’ll make sure the whole case goes away.
Lily might tug at Phyllis’ heartstrings with a Malcolm sob story since Phyllis cares about him so much.
Now that Cane’s arrest is delaying Malcolm’s treatment, Lily might convince Phyllis that all this has gotten out of hand and is affecting way too many people.
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will step up and try to score some freedom news for Cane.
