The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will have a big decision to make after Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) goes rogue.
Once Patty finds out Matt wants her to turn herself in, she’ll intentionally crash the car he’s driving and vanish.
It looks like Matt will lose consciousness in the wreck and wake up with some facial wounds.
Matt will realize Patty has given him the slip and no doubt wish he’d listened to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) when she warned him not to leave town with her.
Although Matt thought he could talk some sense into Patty once they were out of Genoa City, he’ll realize he was foolish to believe he could contain her.
Once Patty has disappeared on him, Matt will inevitably start worrying about her next move.
Matt promised he’d never show his face in GC again, but that’s a promise he may be forced to break if he wants to stop Patty and protect the people he left behind.
This could serve as an opportunity for real redemption and give Matt the chance at a heroic moment.
Patty was willing to run away with Matt when she thought they’d be a team and tackle the future together.
Once Matt shatters that illusion, Patty may decide it’s time to embrace her vengeful side and make a Genoa City comeback.
Since there’ll be plenty of Abbotts present to watch Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) tie the knot with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), it’s easy to see why there are concerns about Patty popping up at the wedding.
Although there’s going to be extra security, it may not be enough!
Patty still blames Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) for stealing Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) away from her.
Of course, Patty isn’t fond of Jack’s other family members either since she views them as naysayers who stood in the way of her reunion attempts.
With Patty riled up over Matt’s betrayal, Y&R spoilers suggest it could serve as a reminder of how much she craves revenge.
Patty may determine that she never should’ve let Matt lure her away from one last chance with Jack and whatever wedding destruction she can inflict.
Matt may race back to Genoa City and try to stop Patty’s wedding crasher drama, so stay tuned to see if he might get injured or worse in the process!
