The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, May 11, reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will once again grow concerned about Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) well-being.
It’ll lead to Adam asking Nick a question that he’d rather not ask, but he’ll know it’s necessary.
Nick seems truly remorseful about going down the road of addiction and feels like he let his family down.
Now that Nick has seen the light, he’s made a commitment to getting better through an outpatient treatment program.
Even so, Adam saw first-hand that Nick was in pretty bad shape in Vegas.
Adam knows what the warning signs look like at this point and will soon fear his brother’s had a relapse.
After hearing from Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) about his run-in with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) at the park café, Nick could indeed face some drug temptation.
Nick’s going to be all wound up over Matt coming back to Genoa City and claiming he has amnesia.
Part of Nick will no doubt be looking for a quick fix that could help him deal with all his emotions.
However, another part of Nick may realize he needs to stay on the right path and try to keep a clear head.
Regardless, Nick’s agitated state will prove troubling to Adam.
It looks like Adam will remind Nick about the importance of his recovery and leaning on his loved ones if things get too tough.
Nick will eventually get the feeling that Adam is trying to accuse him of something, so he’ll push Adam to just go ahead.
Adam will flat-out ask Nick if he’s using again and hope he can get an honest answer in return.
It’s possible Nick will indeed relapse, but it’s also possible he’ll just be struggling without his drug crutch – especially with Matt on the loose in Genoa City again.
That’s enough to make anyone in Nick’s position fly off the handle.
Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Y&R spoilers say she’ll do some brainstorming and come up with a new strategy to use against Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will get a hint about what Phyllis is up to and question her about potentially surrendering the company to avoid prison, but she’ll have an alternative solution.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Michael may sound the alarm over Phyllis’ news and fear her plan’s going to backfire, but there may be no stopping her!
