The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) could be on a collision course with a woman named Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow).
Will Nick’s decision to head to rehab lead to a new girlfriend and a whole lot of drama?
In the July 23 episode, Nick found himself struggling with temptation, especially after a text from his former drug dealer.
Since Nick isn’t doing well, he admitted to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) that he thinks he needs to go to rehab.
Nick has already been doing an outpatient program, but it sounds like he feels an inpatient program is now necessary.
There must be a reason why Y&R is taking Nick down this road, so it could be partly so he can cross paths with Marie.
Jade Harlow will make her first appearance as Marie Kirkland on August 10.
That may give Nick time to get settled into his rehab facility and ultimately meet Marie during his treatment there.
We all know how Nick loves a damsel in distress, so he may be drawn to Marie and feel the need to help her get back on her feet.
Nick obviously has to focus on helping himself first and foremost, but he may not be able to resist helping Marie, too.
Since Marie will be looking for a new beginning, Nick may try to set her up with a job and a place to live after their time in rehab is over.
Of course, Nick might develop strong feelings for Marie in the midst of all this.
Although Nick shouldn’t be getting swept up in a romance right now – especially one that involves another addict – he may not be able to help himself in the end.
However, there’s a chance Marie will become a source of trouble in Nick’s world and lead to unsettling news.
Hurricane Marie might come crashing into Nick’s life and cause some disasters, so that’s something to keep in mind.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick’s rehab stint will lead to some surprises, so stay tuned to see if he’ll first encounter Marie there and form a connection with her.
