The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, April 20, reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will move forward with an idea that could end in disaster if he’s not careful.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will also feel backed into Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) corner while Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) pesters Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
First on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) will throw some serious threats at Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Perhaps Christine will insist she’s more than prepared to prosecute Phyllis if the Newmans come through with incriminating info.
Christine may also confirm that she’s indeed taking over the DA spot again and warn that Phyllis had better keep that in mind.
Phyllis will have more reasons to worry once Christine points to the troubling news that’s brewing.
Unfortunately, that may not be enough to change Phyllis’ mind when it comes to Victor’s fierce demand.
Victor wants Phyllis to sign the Newman empire back over to him in exchange for staying out of prison, but how long will she keep dragging her feet?
Regardless, Thursday’s episode will bring more pressure for Michael.
Victor will back Michael into a difficult corner now that he’s refused to accept Michael’s attempts to negotiate on Phyllis’ behalf.
Michael may have to change his tactics up a bit and be a little more forceful about Phyllis needing to surrender.
There might even be a sneaky move or two that Victor ropes Michael into carrying out.
Speaking of sneaky moves, Jack will move ahead with a plan that involves taking a major gamble.
Since Jack’s been hinting about the “nuclear option,” it sounds like he’s going to pretend things are turning romantic with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Although this plot is extremely risky, Jack seems willing to try it since nothing else is working when it comes to winning Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) back.
Jack intends to draw inspiration from romance novels and stir up jealousy for Diane in hopes that it’ll spark a reunion.
This could help push Nikki and Victor back together as well, but it’s also possible it’ll make matters worse all around.
While Jack and Nikki act like they’re on the verge of reconnecting as lovers, Kyle may have concerns.
Patty will also pop up in Thursday’s episode to get under Kyle’s skin, so stay tuned to watch her goad him.
As for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), will viewers hear her proposal answer for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) or will the show keep everyone in suspense a bit longer?
Of course, Y&R fans will be eager to see what happens following Sienna Bacall’s (Tamara Braun) claim that she killed Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), but that storyline may have to wait!
