The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, May 14, reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will put a trap in motion while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) lays down the law with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also change things up with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), so let’s discuss what’s ahead on Y&R.
Following Phyllis’ realization about the amnesiac mystery man being Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), she’ll quickly form a plan.
Since Phyllis will work on a trap in Thursday’s Y&R episode, it sounds like she’s going to set one for Matt.
Phyllis may not be on good terms with the Newmans right now, but she knows Matt is a dangerous monster who needs to be stopped.
After everything Phyllis and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) endured together as Martin Grey’s (Christopher Cousins) lab rats, she doesn’t want Sharon dealing with another scary threat.
Phyllis might even hope she can use Matt as some sort of leverage with Victor, but her plan to trap him may go awry.
Matt could catch on at some point and run away once he realizes Phyllis is a foe rather than a friend.
Next, Victor will confront Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about whether he’s still using drugs since Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) suspects that may be the case.
Victor will also try to shut down Nick’s part in the plan to kill Matt since Nick’s in no shape to be doing that right now.
Although Victor will try to boss Nick around and put him on the right path, Nick will end up meeting with a drug dealer in the coming episodes.
It’s clear that Nick is still looking for a fix, so he may need more than whatever outpatient rehab program he’s signed up for.
Over with Jack, he’ll apparently use some manipulation tactics on Patty and urge her to join forces with him against Victor.
Patty is always eager for any extra time she can spend with Jack and may be easily persuaded to team up.
However, Patty is a wildcard who’s always going to be difficult to control.
Jack’s plan could go horribly wrong since working with Patty can only lead to bad news!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Patty will have more tricks up her sleeve as her storyline continues in Genoa City.
