The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, October 6, reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will find a way to wipe the slate clean.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also get put on the spot thanks to a surprise interrogation.
For starters, let’s talk about Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) since she’ll remain concerned about Nick and what happened with Joe (Chris Grant Wenchell).
Nikki will put her son through a grilling session, so Nick will get backed into a tricky corner.
However, Nick may ultimately just assure Nikki that everything is fine.
Despite Nikki’s concerns, Nick will probably stand by his claims that Joe simply took off after things got a little heated between them.
Of course, Y&R fans saw a different version of events since Nick pummeled Joe repeatedly until he was on the ground in bad shape.
Nikki may sense that Nick is leaving something big out and worry he could end up in serious trouble with the police.
As for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she may not be able to resist gloating to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about her new purchases.
Phyllis may insist she’s the proud owner of the athletic club and the office building across from Newman Enterprises.
Unfortunately, Phyllis’ attempt to mark her territory and prove she’s a key player in the Genoa City game could backfire.
Victor will keep a vow that he once made to Phyllis, which could potentially lead to some consequences.
On another note, Sharon will seek a new beginning.
Now that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) has finally left town, Sharon may feel like she can breathe again after all the stress.
Perhaps that’ll play a role in why Sharon focuses on a clean slate in Tuesday’s Y&R episode.
Sharon may hope that all her loved ones can heal and move on, but there are two problems with that plan.
The first issue is that Nick’s situation with Joe could come back to haunt him and cause even more turmoil.
The other issue is that Matt’s attempt to handle Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will lead to alarming news.
After Patty causes Matt’s car accident, she’ll apparently escape in the aftermath.
If Patty heads back to GC for revenge, Matt might follow her and try to stop the chaos before it’s too late.
