The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) could unleash his wrath all over Genoa City.
Some vengeful schemes could lead to trouble for multiple characters, so let’s discuss three payback plans that could bring erupting Y&R drama.
1) Matt and Phyllis face Victor’s fury
Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) was initially grateful for Victor’s chance at redemption, but he’s been worn down by all the naysayers and people who still view him as a monster.
Although Matt will ultimately choose to stay in Genoa City, he seems poised to work for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) instead of Victor – and that wasn’t Victor’s deal!
Victor could follow through on his threat to have Matt thrown in prison at some point, but he might take another vengeful approach instead.
It’s easy to imagine Victor sabotaging Arabesque if Matt chooses to take Phyllis up on her employment offer.
Victor gave Phyllis what was left of the company, but that gift always seemed a little too good to be true anyway.
Phyllis got a reward despite stealing control of Newman Enterprises, so maybe Victor will turn against her and drag her down right along with Matt.
2) Cane and Lily deal with Victor’s mess
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is already a revenge target on Victor’s list, but Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) could get pulled into the chaos since he’s running Chancellor for her.
That’s especially true since Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be in the mix and has a story coming up that involves going after Chancellor himself.
Now that Victor is on better terms with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), he may resolve to steal Chancellor back at some point.
Victor may hope to put Nikki in charge again once her sight eventually returns.
Regardless, Victor may make a mess for Cane that could affect Lily, too.
Lily was delighted when Victor actually delivered on his Chancellor promise, but he could undo it if he makes Cane pay, blocks Billy and regains control of the company.
3) Adam and Chelsea pay for tricking Victor
Now that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is hoping to trick Victor with his Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) deal, all the father-son progress he’s made could be in jeopardy.
Both Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) could go down for their phony Newman Media coup.
At some point, Victor will find out Adam secretly paid Sally for the return of Newman Media, which isn’t what Victor wanted.
Adam and Chelsea could get fired from the newly reacquired media company once their Victor deception blows up!
