The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, October 7, reveal that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will realize something shocking following his car crash with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk).
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will come together for some friendly scenes, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
Now that Phyllis owns the GCAC and the office building across from Newman Tower, she’s gloating to anyone who’ll listen.
Sharon might be next in line to hear about Phyllis’ big purchases.
Phyllis may also complain about her kids never being proud of her accomplishments.
No matter how much Phyllis wants to make amends, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) are constantly finding new reasons to distrust her.
Sharon may offer some advice about that, but the conversation will inevitably shift to Matt sooner or later.
Phyllis might admit that she’s lonely without Matt, but she’ll also want to focus on the future.
That should be good news as far as Sharon’s concerned.
Although Phyllis’ connection to Matt led to some bumps in the road, it looks like Phyllis and Sharon will strike a deal that involves being friends again.
As for Matt, he’ll have a stunning realization, so this could involve missing Patty and his hunch about where she’s headed after their car crash.
Matt might suspect that Patty is on her way back to Genoa City and realize he needs to head there too if he wants to prevent more destruction.
Of course, it’s also possible Matt’s latest head injury could rattle his brain into being evil again.
That’d be another reason for Matt to make a GC comeback, but it would destroy all the work that’s gone into trying to redeem the character.
On another note, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will go above and beyond as Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) maid of honor.
It’s not really Audra’s job to play referee for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), but that’s what she’ll do anyway to ensure Sally has the wedding of her dreams.
It sounds like Audra will stumble upon a tense moment between Adam and Billy, so they’ll presumably be bickering over Adam’s decision to be Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) plus one.
However, Audra will shut down all the fighting and deliver a fierce warning.
Billy and Adam may get a reminder that nothing is more important than Sally’s happiness on her big day.
After Audra demands that they call a truce, Adam and Billy may at least try to get along for Sally’s sake.
