The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of July 13-17 reveal that some shockers are coming up along with some decisions that’ll change lives.
There’ll also be a serious comeuppance or two in the works, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
Now that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has agreed to go on a date with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), they’ll enjoy a night on the town and deepen their connection.
That could lead to a kiss by the end of the night and give Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) an opportunity to witness it.
Nick will indeed spy Matt and Phyllis swept up in a rather scandalous moment soon – at least from his perspective.
Since Nick will inevitably have a negative reaction, he might launch an attack on Matt and deliver a fierce warning for him to stay away from Phyllis.
Of course, Phyllis will rush to Matt’s defense and continue letting herself fall for him.
Matt is already quite smitten with Phyllis despite their trust issues, so he probably won’t let Nick’s outburst deter him from spending more time with her.
As for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she’ll drop her guard with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and become a bit more trusting with her heart.
Will that lead to Cane and Lily finally hitting the sheets again?
Over with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), she’ll continue to cause mayhem for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).
However, both Patty and Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) will need to watch their backs since they’ll be facing some downfalls sooner or later.
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) may play key roles in the takedown drama that’s brewing.
Next, Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) eye bandages may finally get removed, but that doesn’t mean her vision will instantly return.
There’s a good chance there’ll be a bit of a delay on Nikki’s vision coming back, so that may force her to rely on her loved ones as she fears the worst.
Nikki may worry she’s never going to see again, but Y&R obviously isn’t going to permanently blind her.
It’s just a matter of how long it’ll be until Nikki makes a miraculous recovery and can finally start getting her usual life back.
Until then, Nikki will face some struggles and perhaps find herself more drawn to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) than she has been in months.
If anything good can come out of this ordeal, it’s that Nikki and Victor will ultimately grow closer.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) may also contact the orthopedic surgeon that Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) recommended, so he could get the ball rolling on repairing his hand and hopefully returning to the operating room.
Finally, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) seems poised to spiral out of control after a major revelation.
Jill Abbott (Lauren Koslow) is keeping a lid on a massive secret that’s going to rock Billy’s world and put him on a familiar path.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jill’s hidden agenda regarding Chancellor will be revealed, so Billy will find out some news that leads to him going up against Cane and Lily.
