Thanks to a behind-the-scenes leak, we know Nick will attack his drug dealer down the road.
If Marie buys drugs from the same guy and dies as a result, Nick could take his anger out on the dealer.
This drug addiction storyline could show two sides of what this struggle looks like.
Fans may see Nick successfully conquer his issues and head down a better path while Marie’s story faces a more tragic ending.
If Marie does get killed off, that could lead to Nick leaning on Sharon for support.
Sharon is the person Nick called when he hit rock bottom at the motel, so he knows she’s always going to be there for him during a crisis.
The show may still be working toward Nick and Sharon’s romantic reunion.
If Marie doesn’t survive, Nick could reconnect with Sharon on a deeper level and eventually realize they’re meant to be.
