The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Tuesday, July 28, reveals that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will get a shock when her vision returns.
It’ll come after a terrible nightmare leaves her reeling, so let’s talk about all the drama happening in Tuesday’s Y&R episode.
For starters, Nikki will hear glass breaking as she sits on the sofa at the ranch. Someone will start playing Three Blind Mice on the piano, so Nikki will demand to know who’s there.
Nikki will throw a paperweight and toss threats around since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will want revenge if someone comes after his wife.
Although Nikki will offer up an expensive vase and her diamond bracelet to get rid of the intruder, she still won’t have any luck identifying them.
Nikki will push for a guessing game, so she’ll consider whether Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) or Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) might be messing with her.
Nikki won’t be able to find her phone and will get turned around while trying to escape, so she’ll fall and hurt her knee.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will eventually arrive and hear about the home invasion, but she won’t be able to find signs that anyone’s been there.
Victoria will suspect it was a dream and will leave the room a few times for various reasons – like to check for the staff and to get ice for her mom’s knee.
Each time Victoria exits, Nikki will hear more evidence of a mystery stalker, including a call from an unknown caller once her phone resurfaces.
Nikki will once again hear Three Blind Mice on the call and flip out.
At one point, Nikki will be alone again and assume the intruder has gone after Victoria, so she’ll vow to kill them if anything happens to her daughter.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will ultimately come home and call out to Nikki, who’ll wake up and realize she’s been dreaming all this on the Newman couch.
Nikki will wail about it seeming so real and will get reassurance from Victor as he comforts her.
Suddenly, Nikki’s vision will start returning, so she’ll be overjoyed when Victor’s face comes into focus.
After Nikki admits she can see again, she’ll share a celebratory moment with Victor.
