The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Wednesday, July 29, reveals that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will share some hot scenes while a tough revelation hits Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) despite her joy over her sight returning.
At the GCAC, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will confront Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for intimidating Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) into giving up Newman Media, but Adam will argue that he spared her from a more destructive attack from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Adam will insist Billy is the one who screwed up by putting a target on Sally’s back when he gave her Newman Media in the first place.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will come along and catch the end of this confrontation, so she’ll quiz Adam once Billy’s gone.
Phyllis will wind up needling Adam about being the dutiful son and getting nothing out of it.
Adam will take some jabs about Phyllis surrendering Newman Enterprises and making the town psychopath her companion before taking off.
Phyllis will eventually call Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) to meet her for a drink since she’ll be eager to find out if she convinced him to stay in town.
Next on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Billy will join Sally at home, where he’ll admit he found Adam and confronted him.
Sally will come clean about Adam paying her for Newman Media and wonder if Billy’s going to blow things up just to stick it to his rival.
Since Billy took the news about the Newman Media sale as a personal affront, Sally will basically point out that he makes it difficult to be honest when she fears his reaction.
Billy will apologize and see that Sally dealt with the crisis the way she saw fit, so he’ll patch things up with her and prepare to assemble a glider chair for the baby.
At Lily’s penthouse, Cane will show up after being invited and will offer up a bottle of wine.
Lily will sit down with Cane, who’ll be thrilled to see that she made the enchiladas that their family liked years ago.
After Lily suggests sending the twins a selfie that shows off their meal, Cane will text one and get a playful response.
Cane will also wonder if he really deserves Lily after everything he’s put her through, but she’ll acknowledge his positive transformation.
Lily and Cane will wind up stripping down for some passion on the sofa, where she’ll talk about living in the moment and seeing their potential.
Cane will seem eager to prove they have that potential over and over as they prepare for another round of sizzling.
At the Newman ranch, Nikki will still be celebrating the return of her vision with Victor when Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) walks in.
After Nikki shares that her sight is coming back, Victoria will be ecstatic.
Nikki will want to call Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and fill him in too, but Victor and Victoria will act like it’s too late to call.
After Nikki throws questions around, she’ll find out Nick’s already checked into rehab since he’s been struggling more.
Nikki will want to see Nick first thing in the morning and give him some support, so Victor will vow to make the arrangements.
Once Victor and Nikki get a moment alone, she’ll ask him where they go from here and will be eager to talk about their relationship.
